How SWEET it is!! 9/2/2010

I have been going to the same colorist in Orange County for 18 years. I recently moved to Point Loma, but have been driving to the OC for the past 5 months to get my hair done. I met Eric (owner of Sweet Salon) and decided to try something new. Eric has such a gentle manner, but don't let that fool you, this man knows what he's doing. He nailed the color , cut and styled my hair to perfection. OMG ...... and the shampooing experience..........INCREDIBLE!!! more

Sweet Salon is a nice, well furnished and equiped salon very close to the beach. Not only does it look beautiful but also the hairdressers know their job. Sarah cut my hair in a new cute style similar to my old style but making me look like a new person. She did a good job. I definitely recommend having one's hair cut, colored or styled by her. more

I Love sweet salon 8/22/2010

I LOOOOVE Sweet Salon. Now that I have moved closer this will be my salon of choice. It's very laid back yet still professional. It's not one of those uppity too cool salons. The real reason I come here is for Jade...not only is he an amazing stylist who always takes the time to make my hair look EXACTLY the way i want it...but he makes my hair look amazing even when i don't know exactly what i want. It doesn't hurt that hes easy on the eyes too. more

10 years plus with Eric 8/16/2010

I've been getting haircuts from Eric since he opened his doors. I have absolutely no reservations about referring friends and family (male and female) to him and have done so many times. Everyone I have sent to him has been equally pleased and have become repeat customers. I can't really think of a more obvious reason to go with Eric than that. Thanks. more

Jade has been coloring my hair for a couple years now and he is amazing! I give him little direction and trust his expertise. I always leave loving the way my hair looks and I always receive compliments afterward. The service is great and the atmosphere at sweet salon is awesome!! more

Haircut 8/14/2010

Another great haircut by Eric! I have been getting service here 5+ years. Occasionally I will try a cheaper cut closer to home but I always go back to Sweet Salon. Other cuts may look okay for a week or two but as they grow out I find I have to return for reshaping. At Sweet Salon my cut last as it grows. I actually save money because I don't have to return every 4 weeks for touch ups. All my daughter go here for Prom prep and special occasions. My friends Love it too! more

I love my new sweet and sassy cut 8/8/2010

I finally decided to lose all the hair and Sara gave me the perfect shorter cut. She just instinctively knew exactly what I needed. I got so many compliments including friends who told me I looked like I was glowing. more

Gea is Great 8/4/2010

The salon setup is very cool, the house doggie is laid back and cool, and the best part was having Gea cut my hair...b/c she is super cool! She gave me a great scalp massage to start things off, then took her "sweet" time carefully cutting my hair . It was very easy to talk with her, but I guess it helps when you attended the same high school. Ultimately what matters is that I like my haircut, and indeed I definitely do. more

A generation later... 8/4/2010

I have been getting my hair styled and cut from Eric since 1990, when we first met and later did some table dancing at Bobby Mgee's together in our youthfull years. That in itself should speak volumns about how I feel as it relates to Erics work. He is also now cutting the hair of my teenage children. more

Sweet Salon is awesome!!! 8/1/2010

Eric started cutting my hair back in high school and we have been disconnected for various reasons for years. I found him after moving back to SD recently and love coming down to OB for a haircut and grabbing dinner with the kids on Newport afterward. The online appt. scheduler is the way to go too. more

Everyone in the salon is a Superstar, but Eric is my genius!! 7/31/2010

Eric has been doing my hair for about 5 years now .I started going to him because he did my daughters hair and it always looked so beautiful. I leave the salon and start getting compliments on my "beautiful hair" within minutes. He's taught me how to take care of my hair, what products to use and how to style it. I just love him. He is an artist with hair as his medium and he does it well. more

I've known Gea for years and watched her go through school to become a stylist. When I decided to go back to a salon, (instead of doing it myself anymore), I knew I trusted Gea already. She always does a SUPER job on my hair! I'm so happy when I leave and know that she really cares about the finished product. . . ME! Love you Gea! xox Oh, and P.S. Erica Whitcomb totally freakin rocks... 7/26/2010

In a big way. She's been cutting my hair for a couple years now and I get several compliments on the cut and questions as to where I get my hair cut. I am so glad I found her. She's sweet and sexy and it really shows that she enjoys her work. I recently moved back to Seattle and refused to get my haircut by anyone in that area until I came back to see Erica in SD. I have had my haircut at Sweet's, by Linda Martin for several years. I have always had prompt attention when arriving for my appointment, and have consistently been very happy with the outcome. Price is also reasonable. more
