While I love the Doctor here, and I understand she just went back into private practice, it is like pulling teeth to get answers!! I am so discouraged right now.

Bad, Bad, Bad 4/9/2012

April 9, 2012 I would warn anyone considering the DeZavala Family Practice clinic where Dr. Sara Apsley-Ambriz practices that this is the most incompetent office staff I have ever had to deal with. They are rude, unwilling to help and condescending. It must all go back to the Dr. herself. She is in charge. Perscriptions are not ordered and heaven help you if you have any kiind of billing problem. Terrible experience. Stay Away!!! more

Worst Doctor in San Antonio!!! 10/14/2011

I would never send my friends or family here. Dr Sara Apsley-Ambriz and her office is the worst I've ever experienced. My experience here was truly horrifying. They didn't display their qualifications. It made me nervous. It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. They were all very rude. They were suppose to send my daughters RX to pharmacy and did not. It took them 2 weeks with me calling every day for them to finally send RX to my pharmacy. We waiting at least an hour the 2 times we were there. NEVER AGAIN!!! Also, they charged an additional $15 on top of co-pay to fill out a physical form and fax it. That took over 2 weeks for them to do! RIDICULOUS!! more

Do not go to this office, unless you want to wait 3 plus hou 5/9/2011

Do NOT waist your time. I am new to TX and do not have a doctor. I called said I need to get in ASAP of if they could not see me today could they send me to a doctor that could see me today. They said 3:30 and that was fine, got off of work at 3. They gave me the wrong address so I was 10 mins late. I then had to leave at 4:57! Really! I really needed to to seen today! I took 2 hours off of work! This is why I am having such a hard time in SAT. This happens every place i go! I am told to me in at such a time and then have to wait! more

Greatly Satisfied 1/1/2009

This family practice was recommended to me by a coworker. The doctor I had was really nice and very understanding of my medical needs. The front desk however, seemed a bit over worked and may seem a little unkind at first, but their job is very demanding. I recommend this facility and have made them my primary doctor. Pros: Great doctors Cons: Front Office staff needs to be more personable. more
