D & L were the best. I had five estimates for a new door and operator, and they by far, were the most polite, on time, knowledgeable regarding all products, doors and openers. We had many garage door companies to choose from.. and I am glad we chose D&L. David Lonchar (owner) met with us and showed us the best garage door within our budget (with a lifetime warranty). He called us as soon as it came in and scheduled the install the very next day. more

I'm confused. She cancelled her appt. on the 3rd and rescheduled for the 4th. We never give a 1hour window. She asked us to come @ 11. The 4th came and she called 1st thing and asked us to come right away. We were very understanding of her situation and someone arrived quickly. We did not charge her for the service charge from the day before. Not to mention we helped her carry in her groceries. If so dissatisfied, why would she have us come and install a new opener on Feb. 22? Customer satisfaction is extremely important to our company and would never allow this to go on!! Had an appointment on Feb. 3,2011, my husband ended up going to the emergency room, called the evening prior and cancelled, re-scheduled for Feb 4, 2011. Was told they would be here between 8:00am and 9:00am.....no-one showed, or called. They are aware of my specific problem, sick husband, limited time for appointment. Thought they were understanding, ends up just another rude contractor. more

A worker of D&L went into our house unauthorized. My wife left to go to the store. She left the side door open because her dad was seconds away to pick up something from our house. Her dad gets to our house within minutes of my wife leaving and hears someone who he thinks is me in our upstairs bedroom. It s not me beacuse I had just left to go to the YMCA. Low and behold the worker comes down and tries to say he was looking for our bathroom. Note that you have to pass the bathroom to even get to the stairs that leads up to our bedroom. I should point out it is a little 1000 sq ft house and the one bedroom upstairs dosnt even have a bathroom. The second most upsetting part the first--someone being in our bedroom-- was the owner David after hearing of this told me he has gone into someone else's house without their permission to ""use the bathroom"" before. We did call the police and pressed charges. Now the Owner of D&L is expecting the full amount owed. He said through subcontractor that it didnt matter that his employee went into our house and that we should still pay for his wonderful services. Cons: Went into our house unauthorized more
