I have visited D.Geller on numerous ocassions. My fiance bought my engagement ring there, but before hand he and I had gone in several times to look at rings. We we never hassled or felt pressured to buy anything. The salesmen were always very helpful even though they knew we were only there to look around. I have also recieved numerous other items from them and have loved them all. I have been a very happy customer of D. Geller and recomend them to anyone I know. After six years of doing business thinking that we were getting a great deal not! After doing research on the intranet what you buy and pay for is no bargain. We made a few diamond purchases including my wedding ring and it was overpriced by far. We are now going to try Solomon Brothers as I looked on their website and they seem to have so reasonable prices. Cons: pricing more

Mixed feelings about D. Geller. My husband bought my engagement ring there last summer and apparently got the hard sell from them--very high pressure. We also bought our wedding bands there, and we felt the person who helped us wasn't very knowledgeable. My band had to be special-ordered, but he assured me it would arrive on time. I went to pick it up a week before the wedding to discover they had ordered the wrong band--it didn't match the engagement ring at all. So it came down to me having to come back to the store on the day before the wedding to pick up the ring they had re-ordered, which was a giant inconvenience. They were incredibly apologetic about the trouble they'd caused me, though, and I got a very good price on the band. more
