the tour guide gave out duck quakers to all the children. we just happened to have obnoxious children behind us with no parental supervision. They blew these duck whistles continuously...leaning forward right into our ears. We asked them to stop repeatedly but the driver encouraged it. This went on for an entire hour. I was only able to hear the first half hour of the tour before these wretched whistles were distributed. on top of that their 100% satisfaction guarantee is a lie. I contacted them about my experience and they never responded. more

OK, nothing special 10/12/2010

Good: went to a variety of places;. Bad: some narrators very good; one was difficult to understand and I found a little obnoxious; other one was indifferent, not very personable. Improvements: need many more signs; couldn't find pick-up spot on occasion; had to wait a long time sometimes for next trolley because no seats. more

Great Way to See the Sights 8/18/2005

If you have out-of-town guests visiting you in DC, be sure to have them take the Old Town Trolley tour. The trolleys have pickup spots all over DC, and you can hop on and hop off at every place. The trolley takes you through great areas of the city - the Mall, Embassy Row, the National Cathedral, the zoo. Plus, you can send your guests out for the day and know they'll be taken care of in case you can't check out the sights with them. more
