pricing is very good there are also very good bicycles as any other store i have been to. There are also very well at getting the products that are essitinal for your bike

Friendly Staff 5/26/2011

After almost 30 years since I last rode a bike, I bought a used Trek mountain bike two weeks ago. Was 11 miles into a 12-mile ride on the SLT trail in Lawrence when the left pedal fell off. The thread in the crank arm was stripped. Gary and his friendly staff quickly fixed the problem Saturday afternoon so that I would not have to wait until after Memorial Day to pick up my bike. If I get into biking seriously, I will definitely buy a new bike from Cycle Works. more

great support 5/20/2011

great support Recently ran the five year old giant with the new rear wheel up and down 75 miles of Jefferson county dirt roads... Four or five thousand miles later the giant is still a delight to ride. The new wheel is perfect ? The informed advice about alternatives relevant to the way I ride from the guys at CycleWorks was simply invaluable. i was very happy to get excellent support for a bike purchased there a few years ago. didnt see any over priced wool sweaters, but that isnt what i was there for... outstanding support of the product more

bike shop is awsome 5/9/2011

This locally owned bike shop is awsome! They have such a great selection of bikes. You could buy a double bike there or a toddler's bike. I have taken my old bike into the shop many times to have them fix or work on it. I love the localtion and the staff. They are willing to work a deal if the price is right. more

Best in the area 4/29/2011

Great selection of bicycles from inexpensive to the state of the art in bicycles. All of the employees I have dealt with are very knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help select a product that fits your price needs. The service and repair section is the best in town. I have made some unusual requests and they have completed the work within the time specificied and the work was first rate. The shop is filled with new bicycles and displays of vintage bicycles making shopping a pleasant experience. I travel from out of town to give this shop my business because it is the best in the area I have found. more

great service. nice people. nice store. this bike store blows sunflower downtown out of the water. yes, it's located in the middle of nowhere next to a hyvee on kasold, but there is a kickass bike path a block away. don't let the location scare you. the people in the store and the interesting inventory make this bike shop the best place to buy a new bike in town. the owner also collects very interesting vintage bike which are on display all over the interesting, newer retail space. prices aren't cheap but you get what you pay for...service is awesome. bring in your bike with any problem (doesn't have to be bought here) and they will try to help you fix it. they are honest and don't overcharge like sunflower. they do what needs to be done and will often fix small things very quickly. more

Great Service 11/22/2008

Cycle works is a great bike shop. They have bikes for the casual rider and ones for the serious rider. The prices are a bit high, but my brothers alwasy go here for new parts, tires, and accessories. more
