I use to just go to whatever pharmacy was closest until one day I took my son to the dr on a saturday--not my usual doctor-and she prescribed him medicine. I took my prescription to CVS and the pharmacist asked me how much my son weighed and how old he was=---I told him my son was 5 and about 45 pounds. The pharmacist told me that he needed to check with the doctor because this prescription was too much for my son's body and could have really done damage to him. Immediately I called my regular doctor who gave me the correct prescription. I can't think of what would have happened..another pharmacy may or may not have noticed but since then, I am a big fan of CVS pharmacy. Their staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions I have.
