Customer no-service 12/14/2010

I just came from there ready to buy a lot of expensive fabric for my media room, but instead just got a lot of static from the owner Julie Butch(?) because I need 6 panels cut. They had at least 8 employees standing around but couldn't find the patience to help me with the cuts I needed and instead made sure I knew that the extra cuts would cost me extra money. This customer no-service experience led me to find the same fabric down the road 1 mile at Childes - with no hassle or employee attitude. more

This fabrice store has really good varieties of fabrics at great prices. There located a great convenient location with very nice displays with plenty of room to walk around. Nice staff too. more

Wear Comfortable Shoes 9/11/2005

This is a large facility with no frills, but does have acres of fabric selections and upolstery. If you have already tried the Perth Street fabric shops and haven't found what you're looking for, then try Cutting Corners. The prices are very reasonable. more

Great upholstery fabrics 7/28/2005

These folks have a huge upholstery section. They will also upholster a specific line of couch models for you to choose from. They also have a large selection of do it yourself items to choose from (tassels, curtain rods, tools, ribbons etc). They have staff that know how to sew and can give you advice about what types of fabrics you should use for specific jobs. more

Good Prices on Nice Fabricand Custom Upholstery 5/20/2005

Stop shopping at the over priced retail fabric stores! Cutting Corners is a great place to buy fabric and trim at very reasonable prices. They specialize in upholstry fabrics but also carry a good selection of drapery fabrics including dupioni silks and sheers. They have a huge selection of fun trims, pillow forms and drapery hardware. They also sell upholstered sofas, chair and ottomans that are very well priced. You choose the fabric and they make send it to a local upholster for you.
