Cuts Plus

We have used Cuts Plus on several occasions to straighten and style my daughters hair and they have been wonderful and very affordable. So we felt comfortable in letting her go by herself this time, she's 17 years old. This time she came home, over an hour later, extremely upset and her hair looked frizzier than when she went! When she asked her stylist Jenn to thin her hair out, the stylist told her she didn't need it thinned and wouldn't do it. Then the stylist spent over an hour putting products on my daughters hair and ""attempting"" to straighten it. The whole time telling my daughter that because her hair was so ""ethnic"" she didn't think it was possible to straighten it. My daughter straightens her own hair at home all the time with a regular straightening iron no problem. It just takes her a lot of time so every once in a while she likes to have it done at a salon to save her time. Bottom line, the stylist was not able to straighten her hair and only made it worse and then charged my daughter the full price saying that she still had to pay because of their wasted time! We are filing a complaint with the management. To ridicule and take advantage of a young girl like that is outrageous. At least step up and say you cant do your job instead of blaming the customers hair! This stylist ruined the good impression we had of cuts plus and none of our family will ever go back. more

The staff is very nice and they are very efficient and the salons location is great.They also carry great name brand products. Question is, what good is a nice clean salon with good products and courteous staff if you you don't get what you asked for and your hair is butchered up. Sometimes, words can hurt a business and that is not my intention, But when I am asked what happened to my hair , in a very unkind way, I will without hesitation say, I WENT TO CUTS PLUS IN LANSING, KANSAS.
