Custom Decks & Porches

We hired Tony to build a good sized deck with a pergola. I used to tell people I could build a deck but didn't have time. I will never say I could build a deck again. Tony is a true craftsman. Our deck gave us an outside living space that is remarkable. His attention to detail is inspiring. We had many contractors working on our house the same time Tony was there and none of them worked as hard as Tony. I would highly recommend him. Called the guy, poor customer service skills. Used cuss words and slang when trying to go over the process of what was wrong with the deck. At the end of the call decided to not want and do the deck "because he had enough work and my deck would need a rebuild." Compete waste of time. Finally, after I completed my call with him I called another deck company and was told my job sounded pretty easy and can be done the next day where as the guy from "Customer Decks and Porches" said everything would have to be torn down and rebuilt. The professionalism over the phone was just that of poor taste. more

Our experience with Tony of Custom Decks is by far the best we've ever had with any contractor. After calling several deck companies who couldn't come out for a week or more. Tony was the first to offer to come the next day and even on the weekend. We opted for after work. He came and was extremely professional. He brought a very nice portfolio with a ton of pictures, and explained every aspect of the process to use. He handled everything with the city regarding permits and was working within a weeks time. We have 4 animals and need back door access as soon as possible with in just a few days Tony had it ready for us to walk on. Tony puts on beautiful finishing touches. He doesn't just put a square on the back of your house, he does board skirting around the deck, routes many parts for artistic look, and makes sure the design is going to look good.
