Custom Dave's Window Tinting

Paid Custom Dave's shop $80 to remove the tint on my car when it wasn't able to pass inspection. Brought the car in later and paid $120 to have legal tint installed. Brought in a second car (wagon) for tint install, paid $170.\r \r Later noticed something under the tint on driver's side window on the wagon, they reinstalled the tint without charge. Noticed more of the same debris of some sort under tint on the rear window of the first car I had done at this shop so I brought it back as well. \r \r Was told ""you can never get rid of all the old glue"" or something to that effect, the shop did not help further. I was told ""sorry"".\r \r - I paid Custom Dave's $80 to remove the old tint that was too dark to pass inspection. $80 doesn't include complete removal of the old glue?\r \r - The first time I had this same car tinted (different shop out of state), I decided the tint was too light and paid to have the tint removed and replaced with darker tint. Both jobs were spotless, not a speck of old glue clumps under the second tint job anywhere.\r \r Based on previous tint work I've had done on these cars, I never even knew specks of old tint glue being left behind under the new tint was an issue before having work done at Custom Dave's Tint in Mooresville. Both cars I had tinted at Custom Dave's had glue specks or bumps under the tint film (you can see and feel it under the tint). This being an issue on one car, well I guess nothing is perfect. But two cars with the same problem? This shop is definitely not recommended. Bad quality work. Never again. more

Good business had a 12:00 apt and was out with my windows tinted within a hour and a half last time i got my windows tinted at a different tint shop it was 4 hours and 30 more dollars Custom Daves in Mooresville its worth the money or drive i drove thirty minutes i was talking to a guy while i was waiting he drove almost an hour do the right thing go to Custom Daves. more

RECENTLY CUSTOM DAVE'S TINTED THE WINDOWS ON MY NEW(USED) CAR. WHEN I CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE IT WAS VERY SIMPLE AND TO THE POINT, I DIDN'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO A REDICULOUS SALES PITCH ABOUT DIFFERENT FILMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE AT DIFFERENT PRICES. HE USES HIGH QUALITY FILM ONLY. CAR LOOKS GREAT, NO DIRT OR BUBBLES LIKE I'VE HAD OTHER PLACES LEAVE BEHIND. DEFINETELY RECOMMENDING MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!! Pros: EXCELLENT PRICE, GREAT SERVICE more

This is one of the best window tinting places i've been to. I decided that I wanted my windows tinted one morning, the same day, they were! very fast service, no bubbles, and tint looks very good. Cheapest price available but extremely high quality job. They even removed a sticker I had on the rear defroster and relocated it to the front windshield with the defrost still working!!! Would recommend to anyone looking to tint their windows. Pros: everything Cons: I had to wait 3.5 hours for tinting to be complete start to finish? more
