The food at Cubanita's was okay. I had a Tamale (pork) ($3.00) served in a husk, Pollo Tropical ($11.25), and to drink I had the Caipirinha ($7.00).
The appetizer and the entree were okay. The sauce served with the Pollo Tropical was terrible tasting, but without it, the meal tasted fine. The Caipirinha was so strong I couldn't drink it, even after I had let it sit and water itself down.
The atmosphere is VERY crowded. My friend and I ate at the bar because there were no available tables and there was a long wait before us, and after, on a Wednesday night at about 8pm. Sitting at the bar meant that people would lean over us, or close to us, while we were trying to eat. There was also a long wait for service, and it took awhile to get the bartender's attention (the bartender was our server).
Additionally, it's VERY loud, so it will be hard to hear if you are trying to have a conversation.
I probably will not go back here just because the combination of all of the aforementioned made it only a mediocre dining experience.
