While I felt CTM Granite's quality of work was poor, you can decide for yourself - click on the Gallery tab to view pictures. Many of the items shown in the pictures were resolved by CTM backing out the cost in our contract and having us hire our own sub to finish the work, having their sub come back to correct the work, or in the case of the sheetrock patch work CTM said there work was satisfactory (you can decide). Most disturbing was when the front of our dishwasher was damaged by one of their employees and CTM Granite took no responsibility saying there was no evidence their employee caused the damage. Luckily I had taken a video of all of the rooms in our house for our interior designer 1 hour prior to their employee arriving, which clearly showed the dishwasher front was not damaged. I want to say Erin, CTM Granite's showroom manager, was very professional throughout our project which made this project bearable. My advice --- if you hire CTM, you should require lien releases for all material and labor performed at your home, as CTM doesn't pay their subs until they receive your payment. This became apparent when their hardwood sub threatened to lien on our property and sue us prior to us making final payment to CTM Granite. What an eye opener!!!
UPDATE: Mar 2012 - CTM was not pleased when I posted the above comment. In exchange for me removing my post & not posting future comments, CTM offered to waive our final balance due of $2,737.50. As you can see, my post remains. In hindsight, it makes me wonder how many other unsatisfied customers CTM successfully bought off in order to have the appearance of a good reputation. I recommend you check the BBB.
