Broke my second hard drive and lied about it 9/28/2009

I recently received my computer back from them on a power unit replacement for a tower PC. I gave them my computer with everything working fine. I had transferred files between my two drives the day I gave it to them. When I pick up my computer they tell me that the second drive was disconnected as when as gave it to them. I told them it was all connected when I gave it to them. They kept denying it. Probably because know my seti hardrives are about $200 a piece. The connectors are now completely broken off the drive, which cannot really be repaired. I will never use them again, and would advise others to use caution. Either find somewhere else or photograph you pc before giving to them. more

CPS 8/27/2007

Save your money and don't go there. I was charged $75 for initial diagnostics on my Dell laptop, that just ran out of warranty. Was told that motherboard had a crack and given an unreasonable repair quote, pretty much forcing me to take it back. Took my laptop home, ordered new motherboard online. As I was taking my laptop apart to replace motherboard, I discovered a couple of interesting things: for one, this laptop has NOT been opened since the last time I opened it, and two - motherboard did NOT have any cracks, just a burnt connector. more

CPS 8/8/2005

This was a nice little computer store to visit just to browse around. However, I wouldn't really recommend buying from CPS just because you can get a lot of the items cheaper if you buy them online instead. That's not really their fault, though, since they are a small store. The people there were very friendly and helpful. more

CPS+ Computers 8/7/2005

A knowledgeable, friendly staff made this a great place to research some of my available options when shopping for a new computer. They were able to help narrow down my choices and give me a little guidance and direction towards making a purchase, even though I ended up doing so elsewhere. It's nice to have these little establishments around the neighborhood to contrast with the large brick and mortar chains that provide at best half the level of service. more
