Crum's Beauty College

I attended Crum's beauty school in 1965! Mr.Crum passed away when I was a student there & his wife & son took over the management at the school at that time. I received a very good education from the school & owned several salons over the years----also an Image Consultant Company & many other businesses over the years before retiring---but I received the experience I needed to start over 20 successful businesses over the past 40 years & I can say I received my start at Crum's!!! more

I have visit Crum's Beauty School on several occasions. The first time I ever had my hair professionally colored was at Crum's. I was able to get low-lights, highlights, a trim, a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner all for under $50. What a bargain! I've also had a pedicure at Crum's. The hour-long service was so releaxing and beneficial. The student was really respectful and knew exactly how to give a comforting pedicure. Another service I have received is an eye-brow wax. Unfortunately this service was not what I expected. The typical 10 minute service lasted for 45 minutes. The student seemed very unsure of himself and kept second-guessing. For the most part my experiences at Crums' have been well worth the money. more

Located in downtown Manhattan, this place is a great place to get bargain deals on updoes, hair cuts, manicures and pedicures and waxing as well. Although the employees here are cosmotologists in training, they do an excellent jhob, and if they do not, they have to fix it. Best salon bargain in Manhattan! more
