Our favorite part about this park is feeding the geese. They are very friendly and will take food out of your hand. There are squirrels who are even braver, and will steal snacks from strollers.
There are two areas to this park, one with a playground specifically for smaller kids, and another for larger kids. They have numerous picnic shelters available, ponds, beautiful areas to stroll around, and wonderful landscaping. Once a week they offer a free family concert. They also allow fishing.
The only negative is the open lakes. I have an almost two year old and a nine month old, so it's not unusual that the toddler will get twenty feet away before I can catch him, which is about the distance from the playground to the lake. Having a child with no sense of fear, it can become a real hazard in a matter of a few seconds.
