Bob at Crowder & Draper appeared to be not only a business man, but also a caring individual when my transmission died in Hopewell. He went to the shop on his day off and installed my transmission. He also advised me not to purchase the extended warranty because it would be the same transmission either way. Unfortunately, the transmission went out when I reached SC. And when I called Bob that night, he said he would help me get my money back if the transmission was bad. When I called him today, he basically said I could get my transmission fixed if I got the car from SC to VA. In other words- TOUGH LUCK!!! Instead, Mr. Lacy at Lacy Auto Parts where Bob bought the transmission made an effort to be helpful which I appreciate. I also found out that Bob was kind enough to charge me $300 for a transmission he purchased for $150. I suggest you only go to Crowder & Draper if you are fond of being overcharged and ripped off!
