Crowder & Draper Transmission

Bob at Crowder & Draper appeared to be not only a business man, but also a caring individual when my transmission died in Hopewell. He went to the shop on his day off and installed my transmission. He also advised me not to purchase the extended warranty because it would be the same transmission either way. Unfortunately, the transmission went out when I reached SC. And when I called Bob that night, he said he would help me get my money back if the transmission was bad. When I called him today, he basically said I could get my transmission fixed if I got the car from SC to VA. In other words- TOUGH LUCK!!! Instead, Mr. Lacy at Lacy Auto Parts where Bob bought the transmission made an effort to be helpful which I appreciate. I also found out that Bob was kind enough to charge me $300 for a transmission he purchased for $150. I suggest you only go to Crowder & Draper if you are fond of being overcharged and ripped off! more

MY 16 YEAR OLD SON HAS A 2004 DODGE DAKOTA TRUCK THE CHECK ENGINE LITE CAME ON AND WE HAD IT SOMEONE CHECK IT AND THE CODE CAME BACK AS TRANSMISSION PRESSURE. THE TRUCK WAS RUNNING A LITTLE ROUGH I COULD NOT GET OFF WORK SO I SENT MY SON THERE. THEY PUT IT ON THERE TESTER MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS AND CHARGED HIM 20 DOLLARS. THEY COULD HAVE TOLD HIM AND CHARGED HIM ANYTHING. I WOULD SAY THIS IS A VERY HONEST AND RELIABLE PLACE TO DEAL WITH. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND...THANK YOU CROWDER AND DRAPER more

This shop is outstanding !! They are the definition of ""Service"" and above all...they are honest people. If your vehicle does not really need it...they'll tell you. I advise anyone with a Dodge to try them out... I don't even think about the dealership anymore. A+...10/10..everyone at Crowder & Draper deserves the highest possible rating. more
