Took my first trip to Cross Corner last night, and am very mixed on my response to it. I'll start with the good points... First of all, GREAT FOOD! Everything I ordered tasted better than your standard sports bar food! Second, great prices on drink specials! Finally, a very fun environment with enthusiastic sports fans! Now for the bad... The service on the main floor was the worst I have seen anywhere in my life! After sitting down, no servers spoke to me for 10 minutes. I started trying to establish eye contact with them, and finally the server for my table walked over and took my drink order. I watched the bartender make my drink, but it took another 10 minutes before the waitress actually walked it over to my table, and without apologizing said she through for sure she had already brought it to me. I was about to ask for a food menu, but she walked away before I could even get a word in. Another 10 minutes went by and my server was nowhere in sight. I walked around the restaurant and found where the menus were kept and grabbed one for myself. I knew what I wanted in 2 minutes, but another 10 minutes went by as I watched the waitress hang out with 1 specific table. I actually stood up, walked over there, and established eye contact with her to let her know I needed something before she came back to my table. The rest of the evening went on like this. I felt like I was an invonconvience to the waitresses social life. She clearly did not care about me and did not want to be bothered by me. To top it all off, I was ready to order dessert at 10:50, but the waitress didn't resurface again until 11:10. She started to tell me the kitchen closes at 11. If she had been present on the floor, I could have finished my drinks, dinner, and dessert by 10:30, but due to her disappearing for 10 or 15 minutes at a time it was constantly a frustrating wait where I often resorted to walking around the place to find her. In short, the service was so bad that I would never go back to the main floor section of Cross Corner. I might be willing to try the bar area, as the service looked very good and attentive up there. My advice is to only go if you are going to sit at the bar. more

Delicious Food... Best wings in Tennessee, homemade key lime pie, juicy burgers, beer queso, awesome soups-of-the-day, killer made-to-order pizzas, epic hand battered onion rings. Awesome Staff... Go there twice and someone will remember you. They are all nice, all great at their jobs, and not to mention easy on the eyes. :) Cheap Drinks... I haven't found another bar as quality and bang-for-your-buck in my life. Beers under $2 every day at happy hour, double pour on liquor drinks and a great selection of whatever you want. This place has changed since it went non-smoking. The food is great at a very reasonable price. It is a sports bar, therefore noisy especially during local or national sporting events. But then as I said, that's what it's there for. Love the burgers and catfish! Beer prices are great during happy hour. It's supposed to be a sports bar but has the atmosphere of a neighborhood bar. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't smoke and kids are allowed. C'mon...it's a bar, not daycare! Take the kids to Chuck E. Cheese! more

Very nice sports bar atmosphere. Smoke-free. Pretty good-sized place with good sports-bar food and excellent service. Plenty of TV screens. Will certainly go back to this place. Pros: Large comfortable place, good food & service more

Ok, i now have my spot in town. I'm a new guy here and i wasn't able to find my niche. Until i went to Cross Corner Bar and Grill. I'm used to my hometown bartender remembering my preference in drinks and food and that is just what i found at ""The Corner"" . The servers and bartenders remembered my name and my wifes name on the second time we were there not to mention our drinks and food likes and dislikes. I really don't write reviews on places i like but when i saw something negative about my new haunt i had to comment. If your looking for a snobby wanna be rich kid bar there are others here in town for you. But if your looking for a great place with the best wings and other goodies, not to mention all the sports action, this place is for you. By the way you cant even deny they have the strongest happy hour in town. Pros: Food, service, personality, happy hour! Cons: For big games this place is packed, get there early. more

If you are low-class trash who slam back Budweiser by the gallon and chain smoke til your lungs look like asphalt this is the place for you. This place has horrible atmospehere, average food at best and horrible, impolite service. If you enjoy overpriced drinks, crappy food and a terrible atmosphere, then by all means - drop by. Okay where do I start regarding this dump. The food is typical sports bar food, the bar is very smokey, and the service is sloppy. I met three of my lady friends after work for a few laughs and a cocktail or two. We had been there about 2 hours and finished dinner and had just ordered our 2nd cocktail, when the bartender announced that we were cut off because we had been laughing all night. This is my favorite restuarant in town. And by far has the best bartender in town. Very fun environment. It is the Cheers of the South. Excellent food and service. Great value. Wonderful people Pros: bartender, food/strong drinks, environment more

this is one of the best resturants in all of brentwood. the service is great, the food is amazing, and the arcade is one of the best. they took care of the somking problem, and its a family friendly place. proablay the best place in the world to watch a big important football game. go here, you'll thank your self Pros: service, tv's, burgers more

You've got to check this place out!! They have a 100"" inch HDTV projector screen. It is the clearest most amazing picture I have seen. The staff is always friendly and the WINGS are the best I have found in Tennessee!!! I promise! Pros: TV's galore, great food, great atmosphere more

i've always found the service excellent. the staff remembers your face and what you like to drink. the cajun wings, black bean chicken burrito are great. the HOT wings will light you up. a great place to watch any sporting event...multiple tv's. Pros: service, food, value Cons: smoke more

I have always enjoyed going here for drinks and a meal. The Video Golf gives the gang something to rag each other about if there's no game. While a good assortment of TV's makes sure that one can be tuned to what you want to see. A lot of the staff have been there since I started going here in 99, so they know what they are doing and know the regulars. more
