My teen daughter wanted to purchase a reptile and she had questions to be answered, but the way the owner treated my boys, I would NEVER recommend this pet store to any family. My two teenagers, five year-old, three year-old, and I went to this store on 08/11/09. I was appalled that the owner yelled at my two little boys. My boys were so excited to see all the animals. My one son was yelling to his brother to come to see the reptiles (NOT yelling to be obnoxious.) and the owner came from a room where he was watching T.V. and in a very loud, rude voice said, ""You two need to stop yelling!!"" At that point he looked up to see me standing there and he walked away. I gathered my children and left the store and will NEVER to return or recommend this smelly, dirty, lack of customer service store again. No wonder why the owner closed the Sandy store. If he continues treating customers this way he is sure to lose his pretty Corvette that sits in the parking lot.\r \r Cons: Smelly, dirty, and RUDE more

I love this place I have my fish he is very healthy I got him for 10 cents he is a gold fish i have had him for 10 years we have moved to saint george and back and still alive thats why his name is lucky great job p.s. never buy fish from wal-mart more

We bought a chihuahua from this store. The customer service was very helpful. Our puppy is the cutest little thing! Well worth the money we spent! The store was very clean and organized. This is our new find and we will definately be coming back! more

We bought a puppy that became deathly ill 2 days later. We have incurred over $700 in vet. and hospital fees for a puppy that cost $600. The owner would not return my call until I threatened legal action and then would not let me take the pup to his vet. The puppy had giardia, 2 other parasites, kennel cough and a yeast infection in both ears. It was tough and go whether the puppy would live and required 24 hour attention for over a week.The puppies were first delivered to this location and transfered to the Salt Lake City Store called Pet World after one day. Not sure which store the puppy got sick but the owner is the same. Cons: all that could go wrong, went wrong more
