DO NOT USE TRAPPER JIM! We have used his a couple of times in the past and had satisfactory results. This time we paid him up front to removed a red squirrel that chewed a hole in our house. Over 20 calls and two months later we have an abandoned trap and we still have a hole in our house. It is beyond disappointing that someone whom we've established a working relationship with would basically swindle us. Looking online it appears that we are not the first ones to be taken by him. Hopefully we are the last!! more

Have now dealt with Trapper on two separate occasions, both with great success. The first was in 1997 when a raccoon mother took residence in my chimney and gave birth. He live trapped the family and removed them, then gave my association a deal on chimney caps. None of us had them. Second is with a young injured raccoon just last week. He rearranged his schedule to come out and try to catch it. When we didn't succeed, he didn't charge us for the trip. I will call him again should the need arise. more

I had a squirrel in my soffits and Trapper Jim did come out to help. He talks a good game, very friendly story teller and sold me on a full service concept. He put a trap on my roof and told me he would be back the next day to follow up and agree next action steps if we had not made a catch. It has been two weeks and no response from him. I have called many times and I still have a trap sitting on my roof. DO NOT PAY HIM BEFORE THE FULL SERVICES ARE RENDERED. I was taken for $225 and now I have to get on my roof to remove the cage. Metro pest referred this guy to me. They said ""he was my guy."" Trapper Jim came the next day, asked for his money up front, $225, and talked a good talk. He trapped one squirrel, left the $20 trap on my chimney and hasn't responded to numerous phone calls. I'll know now to pay someone when the job is done. He even brought out ""his guy"" to give me a bid on repairing the chimney, I can't get jim to call back with the bid. He says they're having a hard time finding the siding...menards has it in stock! Trapper Jim does not return any phone calls after the initial service call. He asks for money up front, tells you a few good stories, and then never shows up again. He does know how to trap the animals but he will not live up to his end of the bargain and continue to follow-up and make sure the problem is resolved. Trapper Jim, as promised, trapped and removed a squirrel from my attic. As part of his services, he guaranteed that all of the squirrels would be gone and that he'd follow up with me to either repair the squirrel hole(s) if that is what I wanted or to instruct my contractor how to do an adequate 'squirrel proof' repair. I paid Jim with cash in full during his first visit. I have not heard from him since he trapped and removed that first squirrel. After said critter was removed, I was hoping to set up repair services with him and I called him numerous times to let him know that. I also requested a receipt. I even called to let him know that squirrels have returned. I have not heard from him and i have not received a receipt. I've left numerous phone messages. I feel like the critter gitter stalker. Do I recommend him as an adequate trapper? Sure - he trapped and removed a squirrel from my place. Clean, efficient...no muss no fuss. And at the time, he was a great guy - lots of stories. Do I recommend him as a trusted business man? No - he asked for cash upon arriving at my place, i paid him, he never followed up with me, he did not return one phone call, I haven't received a receipt and I've got more squirrels. Jim does a great job and is extremely personable. We had a problem with Raccoons in the attic (Mom and kits) and he worked until we were able to get rid of them. His follow up is quite good and he keeps you informed along the way of the issues. more
