I had dinner at Cricklewood with a companion before attending a performance at the nearby Wells Fargo Center for the Performing Arts. The young woman who waited on us was a delight; friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and a darned good server. more

I like good food 9/7/2010

I shall definitely eat there again, and gladly make the drive over the two mountains and take guests there; it is now one of my four favorite restaurants in California. And, please realize I'm a rough, non-professional restaurant reviewer, simply because I like good food. more

The food is amazing!!!!! There is a nice selection for portion size on most of the meat dishes. The self titled cut of prime rib is sooooooo good. It melts in your mouth. My companions had Ny strip and top sirloin respectively and were very pleased. I sampled their dishes and was pleasantly surprised! Bread and salad were served with dinner. The staff was attentive and prompt. We will visit again very soon!! They have a cool lounge area that is separate with the bar with comfy sofas and chairs. more

Great atmosphere and a self serve salad and soup bar! 7/22/2010

The atmosphere of the Cricklewood, always jolly, becomes positively chummy at noon when the regulars stream inside for a great value. A self-serve salad and soup bar is included with luncheon entrees. more

Portion control at a new level 7/7/2010

What is great about Cricklewood is that you won't find a restaurant that has several beef entrees that can be ordered in various sizes which custom prices our your dinner. I can never finish a whole steak, and with Cricklewood you can order just the perfect amount and not be intimidated by all that beef on one small plate. more

Amazing mouth watering steaks! 6/24/2010

We tried the top sirloin which was about 7-8 ounce serving. It was perfectly cooked. All the beef was remarakably lean and juicy. Prices are incomparable to other steakhouses, amazing and memorable experience. more

Excellent service, food and definitely coming back! 5/24/2010

Had the large end cut of prime rib, for Mothers Day. My husband and I split the order. We each had a salad. A bottle of Liars Dice, onion rings, mud pie, and a delicious cup of coffee. Service excellent, and we have been coming here for over 20 years. It just keeps getting better. We send our guests here from Windrose Romantic Cottages, when the are looking for good prime rib. Bring on the next celebration, we will be there. more

Been a customer for 24 years! 4/19/2010

My husband and I have been going to Cricklewood for dinner since we were dating - that would be 24 years. They really haven't made too many improvements in that time but the ambiance is the same. The bar is really lovely and the wait staff is well trained. The menu isn't huge but if it is prime rib you after - who needs a huge menu? They also have tempura prawns that are delicious and perfectly cooked. more
