Worst attitude and service possible! \r \r The arrogance and stress must have come from having plenty of customers, it's always busy there. When I dropped by the previous morning, they told me that if I wanted my car back in the same day I should come at 7 AM, so I did. My mechanic was supposed to be Big Steve, but he wasn't in the office when I came in. So Little Steve (probably the owner) started taking notes while I gave him all the problems I noticed and recent works done on my car. When Big Steve came in and started taking over, I asked him if I needed to retell everything to him, he said yes. After this, he asked me, despite the oil change was just done less than 3 months ago and 800 miles to go until it's due, whether I wanted to do another oil change today, I hesitated. But I have learned from other reviews here that I really can trust these mechanics here, so I asked him, "what do you recommend?" I've been going to Crestview for many years and they are about as good as you can get. They take good care of my car deliver as promised and are pretty good about their actual costs vs. their estimates. My elderly parents tkke their super clean Caddy Seville there and Crestview changes the tail lights and headlamps on the spot for them and does not charge them for the work. \r I am very happy that I have a mechanic to go to that I can trust. more

I blew out 2 run flat tires on my lexus 430sc on la cienga potholes. Fortunately, i was near crestview and mike not only had my tires but replaced them timely and threw in a much needed and affordable alignment. I highly recommend them. more

I needed a flat tire replaced and Mike gave me wonderful service. I was in and out within an hour - in time to make it to an interview - and gave me an excellent price on a replacement tire. It's so refreshing to go to a service station that is friendly and honest. I will definitely be taking my car back there for any future repairs. more

I first went to Crestview 3 years ago when I bought my used car - the owner went there to get a battery.\r Then, a year or so later, the engine quit on me in the middle of traffic...I was able to restart, and although it happened several times more I was able to limp into Crestview.\r They fixed me up; no problem.\r The next year I went in for a tuneup - and was told I needed new tires; apparently mine were 7 years old. I hadn't noticed becuase they still had a lot of tread, but the mechanic at Crestview told me old tires were dangerous, so I replaced them. Several weeks later there was a news flash on TV talking about the danger of old tires - I was happy I had replaced them, and please note when I took my car into the Ford shop previously no one had pointed out the danger.\r Then, most recently, I ran into a problem with gas reaching the engine - let's face it, my car is a 1989 Ford Tempo and things like this will happen occasionally. While driving along the other night, I nailed a pothole the size of a small child. This immediately flattened my tire and I was stuck on a donut for 2 days. While scanning CitySearch I found this Mechanic and called to see about a tire. On the phone they were beyond nice, and when I asked if it was ok to get just 1 new tire, they informed me that if all the others were fine, there's no need to get all new ones. (WOW! A repair shop that tells the truth!) Anyways, I got there and when they took the tire off we saw that the wheel was totally bent from the pothole. As I saw dollar signs, Steve said they would do what they could. I was skeptical, but went in and sat down to read my Tom Cruise Biography. About 20 minutes later they had fixed my tire, salvaging the wheel and all for a phenomenal price! The best part was when I got back to work and looked in the trunk to put the jack, wrench and donut away, I saw that they had already done all of that for me.\r \r This is a full service auto shop and I will be telling EVERYONE about them. I took my 1995 Lexus to the dealer for brakes. The estimate was $600.00. A friend suggested I take the car to Crestview Service. Not only was my bill $200.00 less, but the experience was an eye opener. This is a family owned and operated business with lots of experience. after not getting good service anywhere else i called this car place and they were very happy to talk to me. i was able to get in soon and they were experienced and fixed my brakes immediately. their prices were very good. i got a good deal. their customer service was outstanding. more

My mother recommended Crestview to me as she said they were honest; however, my mother does not know a lot about cars. I took my car in there because a noise was occuring when I stepped on the brakes. They checked it out and they thought it was just the way the brakes were aligned. They told me I needed an oxygen center, for which I paid over $400 dollars. They also said I needed to get new brakes. I explained to them that I was unemployed and had no money. They told me that my brakes were at 20% and I only could drive 2,000 more miles before they would be at 5%. A few months later I got a second opinion and a third opinion. The other two garages said that the problem with my car was actually my left axil, which was causing the noise and that iswhat needed to be fixed. Turns out, my brakes were apparently fine: 60% in the front and 40% in the back. My former high opinion of Crestview Service Center has gone completely down the tubes. more
