If you like hair in your food, come here! 6/30/2010

I was excited to go here being local and loving crepes. The service was great HOWEVER, when I ate my food- I found a hair. But one hair can happen to even the best restaurant by accident, so I let it slide. However, I immediately stopped and my stomach swirled when I found TWO MORE HAIRS inside my food. I was really saddened because I had heard such great things about this place. I was also dismayed because the crepe I had been eating had been SO tasty. I immediately stopped eating and later informed the manager about the severe error. She reassured me with apologies and a promise of coupons in the mail. I provided her with my mailing address but no coupons ever came. Apparently this place just doesn't care. Save your time, and find somewhere else. Pros: Great tasting food Cons: Lots of hair in food, incompetant managerial staff more

All about the atmosphere 5/28/2008

This is a great multi-purpose restaurant, It is a good atmosphere to come with friends, family or a date. It is a cute artsy room with some outside seating on a street corner in the nostalgic uptown area. The space is decorated with murals, vines and nice lighting and is known to house the occassional musician. I have had very different service experiences here. They have always been helpful and nice but I once waited over forty minutes for my food when it wasn't even full. The crepes aren't the best I have ever had but are still good especially for the price, and waiters are helpful with suggesting tasty ingredient combinations for the make-your-own crepes. The menu also includes some pastas, salads and other dishes which is good for those who are craving more than a crepe. The dessert crepes are definitely worth a try as well! Pros: ambience, prices Cons: irregular service more

Ok crepes if you're in the area 11/28/2007

If the Cafe Crepe in Santa Monica is too far away for you, then this place will do. Had breakfast here and it was pretty average -- you know, bacon, omelettes, coffee blah blah blah. The interior is cute and bistro-like and there are sidewalk tables if you wanna eat outside. There are both sweet & savory crepes and while it's hard to mess up a crepe, nothing really dazzled. Pros: You can get crepes in Whittier Cons: They're not the best crepes more

cute little place 8/6/2007

I came here with a friend and her family a while back and, let me just say that I was surprised about this place. The decor is really cute with a purple theme and the food isn't too shabby either. Of course, there are crepes (which I didn't have, but tasted) and they were pretty good and there was a huge variety of them. I had a panini and that was also good. The servings are not too big, but just right. I would really love to go back. Pros: food, decor Cons: there was a bit of a wait more
