Crepe In The Grip

The crepes were not only soggy, but there was nothing in it! I would rather drive the extra 20 miles to Punte Hills to get crepes. Crepes are supposed to be thin, crispy and fully loaded. The crepes at what is now called ""I Luv Crepes"" is so not worth the price! more

You have to try the crepes in this place. I totally agree with the previous reviews. I heard, they use a lot of healthy stuffs for the ingredients. Just try it yourself, you'll know the difference. Usually, I like the crepe skin to be crispy, but when I tried the original, it's also really good. Pop corn chicken with fries is good for snacking. I have been eating here for years since before they moved from the old store at Las Tunas, San Gabriel. Now, they are located at Valley Blvd, Alhambra. I've tried so many Crepes house around the country. This one is one of the best, well, I can say this one is the BEST. The service is great and the crepes are to die for. Believe me!!??!! :) I'm a pretty picky eater. Funnel cake, parfait, savory crepes, dessert crepes, ice cream (green tea & strawberry are good)... I feel like getting 'em all at once, it's a tough decision :D\r \r I highly recommended this place!! Usually, I don't really eat desserts. I saw this crepes place when I went to the starbucks next door, the pictures are so salivating so I asked my wife to try coz she loves desserts. Wow, we both love this place. We usually ordered and shared one savory crepe (teriyaki beef or chicken fly) or eel kabayaki rice and one dessert crepe (my wife's favorite: custard, strawberries, condensed milk, whipped cream and green tea ice cream, my favorite: strawberries, bananas, nutella, whipped cream). It's worth it to try.....the fruits are the freshest you could find and the ice cream is good!! We think the quality & the taste are better than the one in Santa Monica or the Grove. This is the BEST Crepes i've had in the US. I used to go there everyday but now, I need to watch my diet, so I just go there 2 times a week at least :P The crepe skin is so delicious. You can always request if you want it to be crispier. It's a great option. The fruits are very fresh and the price is not that expensive. Owh, yesterday, my husband and I just tried the funnel cake with Lychee ice cream, fresh strawberries, and strawberry sauce....Yummmmyyy!!! Best of the best funnel cake, much much better than the one in Disneyland. Friendly customer service! If you're tired of having to cut and eat your crepe then definetely come here! They roll they're crepes here, kinda like a ice cream cone. I think i like it better than the traditional way of eating. more
