Creative Session

My experience started out wonderfully with this company. After receiving our beautiful engagement pictures I was so excited and confident about our wedding album. Unfortunately we were SADLY DISAPPOINTED. Many of our pictures were blurry or had odd shadows around people and none of them were remotely true to color. The response to our wedding album from our friends and family was, ""oh we are so sorry."" After expressing our concern Brad left us a message saying he would do whatever he could to make it right. We have not heard from him personally since, only Tena. She did say that Brad had been having trouble with his camera around that time. Unfortunate for us, but I do understand that things happen. After MUCH persistence, discussion of an attorney, and a personal visit to their booth at Belle Chapel's open house Tena finally sent us reprints of our pictures. They are still off, but atleast she tried. The ironic thing is that they had the audacity to use our pictures as the cover of their brochure (which we found out at the Belle Chapel visit) and had 18 pages of our pictures on their website...all while knowing we were unsatisfied customers and not returing our calls!! Tena said that if I put together a CD of pictures she would make me a coffee table book as compensation for the problems and my patience. (This had been going on for about a year and a half.) I sent the CD certified and have not heard one word nor have been able to reach them. It goes without saying I have not received the coffee table book. . For you moronic women that haven't a damn clue, let me give you one: First off, The Creative Session didn't give ""proofs"". If you were ever to read their contract you would have realized that you RECEIVED TWO SETS OF ALL IMAGES IN 5X7 FORMAT. Any additional images would have to be ordered later. You also RECEIVED ALL THE NEGATIVES. Pros: Amazing, talented, professional and kind people that got into the wedding business to provide a service to people on their special day. Cons: Never stood up for themselves to nasty, gossipy dou che bags. more

Our wedding was in 2006 and we had absolutely no problems with Brad and Tena. We loved them! The work they did was beautiful and the engagement session was wonderful. We got so much more for our dollar then other places would have given us. They were very professional as well. I was very surprised when I read these other reviews. I don't know what happened. If anyone finds out any more info i'd like to know. I tried to find the problem solvers story on it....but alas all the googling I did didn't get me any results. more

We had our pictures done back in 2004. We got our proofs back in a timely manner, but due to my Mother in law being diagnosed with terminal cancer, it was almost a year later before we contacted them about getting the actual pictures ordered. No return phone calls and we finally contacted the Business Bureau. They responded with an offer to print our pictures for us for an additional $100 charge since ""prices had gone up"". Whatever. We agreed, emailed them and asked them to let us know that they had found our negatives that we left with them. No response. Still no response...not happy to hear everyone else's tales...we at least did get 2 sets of our proofs. Horrible customer service. more

See the review from Miranda K. They did the same thing to me. I have contacted problem solvers and the Attorney General for help in this case. I just want my pictures and don't want them to do this to anyone else. I got married in August and have not heard from them sense. Cons: Its a scam more

I hired Brad and Tena from The Creative Session to take the photos for my wedding in September. We were supposed to have them back within 6-8 weeks and now it's February and we still do not have them. They appear to have closed up shop and taken our pictures along with them. We didn't even hear anything from them until Dec. 27th, and only then because I had been persistently e-mailing-- their phone had been conveniently disconnected. Tena e-mailed me, promised my photos would be done ""soon"", and that the delay was due to their photo lab ""back east"" being shut down for a month due to ""ice storms."" I haven't heard anything else since. I found out their house was foreclosed on, I have no clue how to get a hold of them. From digging around on the internet, I've also found out they've recently used the name BTS Imaging as well. All I want is my wedding pictures. Or even just the film. I'm losing hope fast and have no idea what to do. When I researched them before we hired them, they had great reviews and none of these red flags showed up, otherwise I would've chosen someone else. Please do not hire these people, I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. If anyone knows where to find them, PLEASE let me know. more

The Creative Session did an amazing job. They were so creative and artistic. Every pictures was perfect and captured every aspect of my wedding. Every time I look at my wedding pictures I remember how wonderful my wedding was. I am so thankful I had my wedding pictures taken by The Creative Session, it was the best decision I ever made.
