A fun place to eat or drink. Great food and the best outdoor seating in Cookeville 8/11/2006

This is a great place with a cajun flair. A fun place with great food. They have a lot of appetizers that you can't get any where else in town. Try the cajun popcorn for an app and any pasta dish is great. They have a ton of steak and seafood on the menu. The only downside is the service is slow at times. When the weather is nice get your table outside. Pros: Great food and fun. Cons: The service can be slow at times. (Sit at the bar for the fastest service). more

Cajun doesn't mean cayenne 5/6/2005

After living ten years in the Big Easy, I thought I was going to get some nostalgia food here. Not so. The shrimp bisque was a flavorless paste. I had to search to find a morsel of crab in the crab cakes. The gumbo was surprisingly good however, which means next time I'll just get a gumbo to go. more
