We had taken our truck to another mechanic who advised us to replace the engine. We searched on-line to get a second opinion and read the reviews for Craig Johnson Automotive. We made an appointment via the website and within one hour were contacted by Craig. We dropped off our truck and later that same evening received a call from Craig stating he wanted to look into the truck a little further. Craig called us the next day and informed us what he found. He literally saved us thousands of dollars. Craig is very thorough and was in constant contact with us to let us know what was going on before he proceeded with his work. He is just incredible, almost too good to be real, I'm not kidding, and I can't believe I'm so lucky I found a mechanic like him! I first came to him with a problem car I unfortunately bought from a deceptive dealership, and he told me, to diagnose it, he had to charge me $85 (which is pretty reasonable, others charge more), but I should try to get the dealer to diagnose it, because that way I would save the money (so he didn't just take the money, but tried to save me money). Dealer just kept cheating, so I had to take the car back to Craig, to get a true diagnosis. He told me the car is so broken, he wouldn't put a cent into it. I asked how much the total repair costs would be, cuz for me at that time, it was the cheapest option (I thought). He said it would be $1500, but he constantly told me NOT to do this. Then I decided to get a newer (more expensive car). He asked me to send him a list with cars I'm interested in, so he can tell me which cars are good. HE even went online for me, and checked out cars for me. The next day, I test-drove one of them, and had him look at it, he DIDN'T CHARGE ME A CENT for that!!! This man is just unbelievable!!! I'm so grateful I met him, and I strongly recommend him to every person I know!!! more

I thought my truck was a gonner! Craig and Paul saved it for me! Its about 20 years old and it felt like it was on its last leg. I gotta tell ya....she runs like she's a teenager again.. A+ work guys!!! I would recomend them to my friends and family. more

I was recommended to Craig Johnson Automotive by a friend. I usually use the dealership, but I was told to try Craig Johnson because they were fair and knowledgeable. So, I went them to have my transmission repaired and it was very positive experience. They spent time talking to me and they told me what was going on with my transmission and what to expect. The service at Craig Johnson Automotive is phenomenal. I have a motor home, and I had to buy a part for an air conditioning unit. I went to the local Ford dealer, figuring that it would be the place to buy the part, and asked who they would recommend. They said Craig, and when I asked why they said that Craig has never returned a part. When I asked why that was a good thing they said it is because Craig knows what part to order. Since then we have taken all our family cars there, and when they analyze something they know what they are doing. We are absolutely more than pleased with Craig Johnson Automotive. It has been a few years now that we have taken all our cars, trucks, and the motor home there. I don't go anywhere else beside Craig's. The shop has absolutely everything you need, and the employees are extremely polite. No matter what problem I have I take in, and they know what to order to fix it right the first time. Craig is like a family member now, and he takes care of my truck. He does extra things for me; he has even come to my house to help me with something. That is extraordinary in this time. Craig is always willing to help me and is very cheerful. My daughter and granddaughter use him, and I have used him for 15 years now. All of his repairs turn out well. If something doesn't turn out how it is supposed to, there is no problem in getting it looked at again. Craig is very good about that. He and his wife are really special friends now. I started going to Craig Johnson Automotive over 7 years ago. I have never gone anywhere else since. At first I was a bit cautious. Craig explains everything in a professional manner and warranties his work. He only uses the finest replacement parts on my vehicle/s. On only 2 occasions in over 7 years, a Battery replacement and a Rear Axel Seal failed and the warrantees were covered by Craig with no hassles free of charge. Both items were subject to the manufacturing flaws and not the team at Craig Johnson Automotive. Craig improved the life span of my front brakes by 300% which the dealer could never do. In my opinion Craigâ??s honesty and integrity are impeccable. I have confidence that I could drive my vehicle coast to coast with no problems or concerns about its reliability as a result of Craigâ??s attention to details and reliability. I sleep soundly at night knowing that with Craig and his team tending to my vehicle I will not experience any unwelcomed surprises or breakdowns. My vehicle has over 286,000.00 miles on it and runs like the day I purchased it brand new thanks to the team at Craig Johnson Automotive. I attribute the longevity and superb performance of my vehicle to Craig and his team. Before I purchase a new vehicle I will consult with Craig and his team to determine the make and model vehicle that best suits my needs. After becoming a part of the Craig Johnson customer base I highly doubt I will ever utilize an automobile manufactures dealership again. I am contemplating moving away from the area and have committed to returning to Craig Johnson Automotive regardless of the distance from my new residence. I recently reviewed a compilation of the repairs and costs through out my relationship with Craig and in looking back it was money well spent.
