Best introduction to Daytona Beach... 1/16/2009

My first stop in Daytona Beach was a drink at Crabby Joe's. It's on a pier, out over the breakers. Very good seafood for this type of place (it's not a five-star restaurant) - the drinks were not watered down. Plus, it's on the beach. So you don't have to wander far for refreshment. more

Awesome Food and Service 1/13/2009

Was there for lunch last week 1/7/09. Had to share the seating area with some birds but it was actually nice. The food was so much better than we expected from this kind of establishment. So many Pier Restaurants rely on the fact that your sitting on a pier outdoors and forget about quality of food. This place put both first. The waiter that served us was great also. Just a surprisingly pleasant experience all around. There is a place in Ocean City Md. called Thrashers that serves great fries. If they had something special like that, you would not be able to get in. Thanks for a terrific meal. Pros: FOOD FOOD FOOD Cons: not sure about the birds flying around in the eating area, but i liked it more

Can handle a large group. 8/3/2008

A large group of family and friends went to Crabby Joe's for dinner. The waitress was patient with our large group and got all of our food out to us with minimal problems. The food was good, the price was reasonable...but their real claim to fame is the location on a dock. I would recommend this for any groups of friends or family! more

Crabby Joe's is located on Sunglow Pier. We had breakfast which was great, but their lunch/dinner, where you can sit and watch the ocean, all there food was really terrific more

Great Seafood Shack 5/23/2006

Wow! What a find. On the Pier at Daytona Beach Shore's, overlooking the ocean. By no means fancy, just the nicest staff, anywhere. Especially, Tracy, the bartender. Great personality, and makes you feel special. Everday fresh seafood, outstandin Grouper Fingers, Spicy boiled shrimp, and specialty drinks. No shoes, no attitude, just a great place to unwind, and forget about the everyday business life, that you came to the beach for. Can't wait to go back! Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices Cons: Not Close Enough more
