Never Disappointed 12/5/2008

My wife and I have tried a number of places in and around the Mid-Cities, as well as a few in Dallas and Ft. Worth. We have been to all of them 1-2 times, except this place...We've probably been here a dozen times and are never disappointed! Hidden Gem! 5/10/2008

I found this restaurant through City Search and decided to try it since I was new to the area. I was pleasantly suprised. Not only is the food excellent, but the artistry is fantastic. This is not one of those fast food sushi places, so be prepared to pay $10 each specialty roll, but it was definitely well worth it! Pros: Great food, amazing presentation and great ambiance. Surprise Surprise, Southlake is now a sushi destination 9/20/2007

From the outside, you'd never guess there was a chic sushi spot located on the strip mall. Nor would you know how classy this restaurant is from the name ""Cowtown"". We were completely taken off guard once we walked in one Friday night. The rolls were reasonably priced and yes, they were huuge. The Mt. Fuji roll is great and so is the Dragon Roll. We made reservations cause it was a Friday night and we're glad we did. It gets fairly busy on the weekend. Service was wonderful and friendly. Our drinks never went dry and the sushi came promptly. Amazing Sushi, Great Atmosphere, Reasonable Prices!! 3/28/2007

I am a sushi fanatic, lov eit and insist on having it 1-2 times a week! I just recently moved to the area and was told a couple places to try. All of them are good, but Cowtown is great! Very Reasonable prices for a huge variety of sushi. Plus the rolls are huge! The atmosphere and the presentation will far exceed any expectations you may have of a sushi returant named Cowtown sushi! Don't leave without trying the Mt. Fuji roll or the Lousianna Roll, both are out of this world! Pros: Mt. Fuji Roll, Prices, Options Cons: ??? more
