I've dealt with Cowan numerous times due to the fact that I am a contractor which frequently works the Conyers area, and they normally always have what I need... just don't expect a smile from anybody while you're there. But the truth is, I don't need a smile to find what I need. If I were looking for smiles then I'd go to the circus, but then there's my experience today: It's Sunday, and I need a part for my lawn mower. I called as soon as Cowan opened and asked about my part. They would not attempt to cross-reference my part and only offered to say that I should bring it with me to make sure that I get the correct replacement. That's not good enough for me since I live over 40 miles away. I need to know that you even carry parts to support my brand, and I was assured that they did over the phone. Needless to say I was not happy when I get there and a different employee takes one look at the part and states that they don't have anything like that. No offers of another store which might have it and is open, no effort to see if he has anything to retro-fit it even temporarily. ""Oh, well..."" he says. Meanwhile there is another customer there who had in the past purchased a high-end mower from Cowan, is broken down in the middle of a job, and needs some help figuring the belt routing. He is getting the cold shoulder as well. Sure, they would be more than willing to sell him the belt but not a single effort of resolution to his pleas of a routing schematic other than excuses that it was ""last years model"" or some garbage like that. I left. I do hope that at least somebody stepped outside with the customer and took a look at his mower.
Pros: Always happy to sell you a wide variety of goods
Cons: I've not had good experiences with customer service
