Editorial review from Citysearch 7/6/2012

If you are a LATINO, do not go to this dealership. I called on behalf of an employee who's English is not his first language. I provided his VIN # and got an estimate to replace a drivers side mirror. The cost quoted installed was $144.87. I told them to order the mirror and we would bring the car in. They asked if we needed and estimate and since we had already been given one and custom ordered the mirror my Latino friend said no thank you we know the price. When we went to pick up the car it was $325 for the mirror. This are the most dishonest, RACIALLY DISCRIMINATING bunch of service people I have ever seen. I called and asked to speak to the manager by no one ever called me back. I have bought 3 cars from them and will never go back! I am not a LATINO but I saw first hand how they will rip you off! more

Not Courteous! 1/9/2012

I found my perfect car (via the Internet) at Courtesy in Tampa, Florida. After being in contact via phone, they e-mailed me a quote of my 'out the door costs' , less the trucking fees. I was ready to make the deal. When I phoned Courtesy in the morning, to my surprise they had already sold the car even though I asked them to call me if anyone showed interest in the car! I have a hard time believing that somewhere between 4 and 7 PM,they actually did sell the car. When I tried to inquire further , no one returned my phone calls or emails. While I understand that I am not the only buyer in America , I will never understand the lack of common courtesy especially from a place who has ""Courtesy"" as part of their name.. ( I should mention that my communications with them took less that one business day... so it is not like I was dragging my feet on this purchase.) So mark me as a thumbs down on this dealership. more

Mike Accord the Sales Manager was Incredible 12/30/2010

Incredible sales staff, the manager Mike Accord was super fun and and knew his stuff, the whole thing started out very stale and dry, with the normal car buying experience. Mike made it fun and enjoyable. I bought a new Nissan Rogue from Brett, he also was great and was a super sales professional. I will tell my family about them both. This is the only place to buy a new car in tampa. I am a retired Deputy, and I never thought buying a new car would be this easy, from all the horror stories I have heard, I am so glad I met Mike and Brett. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN!!! more

I recently purchased a 2010 Maxima from this place and I could not be happier, the sales manager, Chris Seminaro, was very helpful and it seemed like he knew the car inside and out. He had so much info on the car and I felt very comfortable with him. I guess I was expecting a sleazy salesman, maybe I watch too much tv. But overall, it was a great experience and I would definetely shop here again. more

BEWARE 10/7/2010

Stay away is all I can say. My daughter and I visited and looked at a Nissan Murano. It was everything she wanted, so I had my husband go look the following day. He told me things seemed fishy and they quoted him a price way above what was on the internet. This was a used vehicle, so we know things would not be perfect. But there was a dent on the hood and something was wrong with the front end. The told me to fix the hood the right way would cost $300, but they would throw that in if my husband came back the next day. All they did was pound out the hood which was not a $300 fix and was still obvious. After my husband said what we would pay, they agreed but said take the car as is. Anotherwards they weren't going to fix the front end. My husband left. The sales person I dealt with called the next day and after I told him what happend, like he didn't know he got back with me. They said it was struts on the car and he assured me it was going to be fixed. I called when we were getting ready to leave the house and he supposidly went to check on the car and it was in the shop. He made sure I heard noise from the mechanic shop. He gold me give him 30 min and than they would test drive and he would call me. After only about 20min he called and said the car was ready. What makes me so mad is they were messing with my daughter who really wanted the car. We test drove it and, of course, they had not done a thing. There was still some serious knocking in the front. We got back and the little weezily sale person went in side for about 2 min and came out with no one. Not his manager or a mechanic, nothing. He said they were not going to do a thing. I was shocked. Bascially they are looking for some poor sucker to come along that knows nothing about cars. It needed front brakes, we were going to deal with that. We accepted the dent in the hood. We were going to buy the car, all they had to do is fix the knocking and they wouldn't do. Obviously, it's a expensive fix and all they want to do is pon it off on some poor person. I've never seen anything like it. If they had even been honest and told us what it was, I might have considered buying it and just fixing it ourselves. They worse they could have done by telling us the truth was lost a sale and they did than anyways. Stay away is all I can say. more

DONT BUY THERE! 10/25/2007

WHILE HAVING MY CAR SERIVCED AT COURTESY HYUNDAI SEE REVIEW, I STARTED LOOKING AT A DODGE RAM TRUCK I SPOTTED ON THE LOT. A SALESMAN CAME AND SHOWED ME THE TRUCK AND LET ME TAKE IT FOR A TEST DRIVE, HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY DURING THE WHOLE TIME BUT WHEN WE GOT BACK AND ASKED FOR A CAR FAX REPORT ON THE TRUCK, HE BECAME COLD AND GOT HIS MANAGER WHO CAME AND TOOK OVER FOR HIM. IT SEEMED THEY DIDNT WANT TO GIVE THE CAR FAX TO ME TO LOOK AT AND INSTEAD KEPT ASKING OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHY SPECIFICALLY I NEEDED THE REPORT. AFTER EXPLAINING WHY I WANTED IT THEY FINALLY GAVE ME THE REPORT BUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE TURNED ME OFF. Pros: VEHICLE SELECTION Cons: BAD SALESMAN, LOT OF PRESSURING TO PURCHASE. more
