Very caring Doctors and Staff 5/5/2009

This is by far the best place to take your animals to get the care every animal should receive. The doctors and staff all have animals of their own and know how important it is in caring for your pet as if it was their own. When my dog Max was struck by a car, he was given the best care and a lot of special attention and now is making a full recovery thanks to everyone there. I recommend County Animal Hospital to anyone wanting the best for their pets! Pros: open Everyday Cons: Cant think of any more

Very caring staff and the vets are very educated on many breeds 12/16/2008

I'm the president of a greyhound rescue group in the Greater Cincinnati area and County helps us tremendously with our foster dogs. Many of our members go to County and are all very pleased with the staff. They ALL care to the fullest about our family members and do everything in their power to help each and every animal. I would not go anywhere else for my pets care. Pros: Open 7 days a week; excellent staff Cons: Older facility; but that has never been an issue in my pets care more

Won't go anywhere else 10/27/2008

We actually took our pets to here as a result of our dog almost dying from being over-sedated at another vet office. We have a big dog, chow mix that is VERY scared to go to the vets. They have no problem handling him here, and more importantly, are not afraid of him. He growls but has never bitten. Another vet office tried to sedate him when he got away with a eight foot pole, tranquilizer gun that looked like for elephants. When he was almost dead, we took him here and have been going here since. They are great. Dr. Smith and Jim, the vet tech are our favorites, as they have big dog experience. Pros: Excellent trained staff Cons: Very busy more

Don't stop here... keep shopping for a vet! 12/15/2007

This place has been here for years and one look around the rooms and the boarding area will tell you that. I was referred here by a neighbor when I moved here. The walls and floors are dirty and animal hair was all over the table when I walked in. The nurse aksed me some basic questions and told me the vet would be in. I sat waiting in the room for 20 minutes before the vet came in. I was entertained by listening to the people in the back discuss thier weekend plans and what they were eating for dinner. You would hope they would make up for the place by offering good service, this is not true either. The vet that saw my dog for his yearly check-up informed me that the food I was feeding was wrong, I should start him on laser treatments on his back legs for his arthritis. He asked me all of the same questions and told me I should be getting a rabies vaccine every year, not every three like I have done in the past. He started at his computer, typed, gave my dog shots and left the room. A different nurse walked in and told me I could leave. Grabbed another file and called on the next person. I won't be back and hope others don't. Pros: flexable hours Cons: everything else more
