I must admit, I was nervous after reading these reviews about County Animal Clinic, but set those worries aside because of a coupon I found on their website for a FREE first exam. ( I felt I had nothing to loose, and if I didn?t like it, I wouldn?t go back. everyone is on a budget these days, but I knew when I got my cat that medical bills were going a part of being a good ?parent? to my pet. I even ?called around ? and their prices seemed to match those of the surrounding vets) I thought I would check it out for myself, and I am extremely happy that I did. The front staff is funny and compassionate; they spoke to me about pet insurance, pet nutrition, and gave me an idea of cost for vaccines, blood work, spaying, and shared stories of their own pets.(they even faxed me a copy of my pets results upon request!) They greeted what I assumed were ?regulars? by their first name, and one cute boy with shaggy hair at the desk gave this woman a hug upon entry. The doctor that I saw explained everything (twice) and made Smooch (my pet) and I feel comfortable. He explained the reasons for doing blood work, and calmed my nerves about putting my pet under anesthesia for the spaying (also supplied an estimate for the surgery) . He called me the very next day with my pet?s blood and poop results. The big day of her surgery he called me when the procedure was completed, let me know how it all went, and gave me a time to come speak about post op care and instructed me on how to give my cat medication. He even had someone call me a few days later to make sure everything was going smoothly at home. I don?t know who left those reviews, but they made me realize some stranger?s opinion isn?t worth the price of your own experience ( no reviews on the reviewers lol) . All in all I am glad that I was wise enough to check things out for myself, I couldn?t be happier!
