Countryside Animal Hospital

I have had to have two animals put to sleep, both due to old age/illness while seeing Dr.Parsley. The entire staff was very patient, kind and understanding. I felt that every possible option was presented to me. I never felt rushed and was given all the time needed to make decisions and say good-bye. I could not have asked for better care for my animals. more

I had to bring my dog Mitzu in and have her put down, she was old, and that was the hardest thing to have to do or watch:( Countryside animal hospital, the doctors (vets) were amazing, gentle, and comforting. I was so heart broken but left knowing that they would take good care of Mitzu. RIP:) I will use them as vets for my other dog Mia for check ups. more

Absolutely the best service of any animal hospital I have ever visited. Saved our Noodle dog twice. Came in on Easter Sunday to perform surgery on our dog. These are good, friendly and caring people. If you want the best for your pets, take them to Countryside Animal Hospital. more

Dr. Parsley has exceeded the level the care provided by any other vet that I have visited. I have a six year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Dr. Parsley and his staff have routinely exceeded the standard of care that I have experienced with other vets in Nashville, Denver, and Richmond. I am very sorry to hear about anyone losing their dog, though the review that was written about ""complacent-dog died"" is not at all consistent with the service, care for the animals and attention to my dogs health and welfare that Dr. Parsley and his staff have consistently provided me whenever I call or bring my dog in. My dog constantly tries and sometimes successfully eats and socks and other cloth objects, and Dr. Parsley's approach has always been explain his diagnosis, possibly options, and then let the pet owner decide they want to do and has never been dismissive about concerns I have over my pets behavior or health. Whether I bring my dog in for something serious as potential GI blockage, or simply want to pick up additional flea and tick medication Dr. Parsley and his staff always have made sure that my dog has been properly taken care of. more

I am so sorry to hear about anyone losing a beloved pet. I have lost a few in my life and it is heart breaking.! We have been very satisified with the care our greyhounds receive at Countryside. One of our boys has seizers and Dr Parsley has meet us at his office several times after hours. We use to drive to the rivergate emergency hospital for help and they were always busy and we never saw the same veterinarian. Also the cost was outrageous! I like the home type atmosphere at Countryside and the office and office staff are calming and inviting. more

I found a dog at the Mt. Juliet Bark Park one night. A storm was rolling in so I couldn't leave the little pup she was very young. I took her home and a friend of mine helped me in a search for her forever home. She started showing symptoms of sickness so we took her to Countryside. She was tested for parvo and unfortunatly she had it :( My friend and I pitched in for the treatment at the hospital ( at a very reasonable price for the kind of attention she needed) With the help of the Countryside staff and Dr. Parsley Josie made a full recovery and is happily with her family at her new foreever home!!! I rescue stray cats so I have taken several cats to Dr. Parsley and he has always been great. He is very knowledgable and his prices are affordable. His prices are better then other vets around the area. His staff is very friendly as well. I will continue to go to him for all my cat's medical needs. more

We adopted a rescue dog in 2008 from Kimbers Kritters and we were told that they used Dr. Parsley @ Countryside Animal Hospital. Since we were new to the area, we decided to stick with Dr. Parsley, at least for our girl's first check-up after adoption. The staff at Countryside Animal Hospital are caring and knowledgeable about their work, and Dr. Parsley is an excellent veterinarian. I cannot recommend them enough - we have had to call after hours twice: once after our dog got into a bug trap and once after a routine vaccination. Both times, we were not rushed - they gave us great attention and detailed information on how to care for our girl.
