Country Woods is a retailer and does not make anything as we buy from over 50 furniture vendors, many local and most offering finished pieces direct from their factories. Our prices are very competitive comparing like items and in many cases are better than competitors' sale prices. An unfinished piece that is custom finished by us can cost more. When you first walk into this store it seems to have a wonderful selection. But closer inspection will reveal that you are not going to save much money at all by buying an unfinished piece and then going through all the work to finish it yourself. And there can be little defects in the pieces that you may not notice until after having them in your home for awhile. So unless you specifically want to decorate a piece in your on special way you may want to pass. The staff here, however, is very customer friendly and the location far away from the usual mall and big city madness if very nice. more

Everything in this store is made on site, and is unfinished. They offer staining services, or you can buy the paint or stain and do it yourself. The quailty of the pieces is nice, but the prices are almost prohibitive. more
