Country Townhouses

It would seem that these kind of problems would be for tenants to call the code office and health department. of course you know how these two agencies like to take bribes from landlords or is it slumlords? the laws protect the slumlords and not the tenants. OH to find an HONEST and responsible landlord. more

i lived in those apartment for 6 years and its been great experience through all those years(since its been under new management) . Apartments are well maintained . Great management and maintenance . Never had any problems with insects and i don't know what insects they are talking about. (probably from their own pets) i would recommend this apartments to anyone. I don't know what these other people are talking about, obviously they live in the different apartments, but to let everyone else know about them they're not half as bad as they seem to be mad out to be. There are 4 different apartment complexes for the Townhouse apartments. There's the Sherbrook, Chelsea, Townhouse and I forget the other one (sorry). The Townhouse apartments aren't as nice as the other ones but are meant for people that have financial problems and need cheap living. The Chelsea apartments are two floor apartments that are kept very clean. The Sherbrook are the first ones you would notice as you're coming down the street and are only one floor. The managers are very reasonable people and are very helpful. The only problem I ever had there was that my neighbors never bothered to look at my animals collars which had the my phone number on it and would call the S.P.C.A claiming that there were cats running around without a home and might be lost. The other reason this would bother me is on countless occasions they WATCHED us let the cats in the apartment and let them out. Pros: cheap Cons: neighbors might turn your cats into the S.P.C.A more

One word - insects. I left before my lease was even up and let them keep the security deposit. I've never seen the kinds of insects that were in that apartment until I lived there. Pros: -- Cons: Insect problem. more

The area is unsafe and not well lit. I could hear everything my neighbors did through the paper thin walls. Landlord does not responsibly manage - never shoveled show, never in his office, never responded to calls in a timely manner. For the amount I was paying, I expected much better grounds control. I had to move from one apartment to another because my ceiling was moldy and eventually cracked. There are other much better places to live in Cortland. Pros: Nothing. Cons: Disgusting. more

Apartments are dirty, outside is unkept. No one shoveled until around 3-4pm, when I was getting home from work. Numerous occasions I found my car plowed in. Neighbors throwing parties all the time... seems like landlords will take any tenant. Also noticed an insect problem. Pros: Cheap. Cons: Insects, Maintenance, Grounds control, noise control. more

These guys are really one of a kind. They quickly show you the apartment then you move in only to find millions of little things wrong with it. Clogged drains, insect problems, cracks and mold in the ceiling - you name it. Then at the end of it all, they take it all out of your security deposit. I wouldn't reccommend it to my worst enemy.
