IN RESPONSE TO ""Don't take your dogs here... ever!"" by ktroote I have been taking two of my dogs to Country Hopetality with Deana Wolfe for a year now. I think this negative review is totally unfounded and based on an unhinged person. Sounds like this person woke up on the wrong side of bed or is just placing blame on their own poor training of their dogs. This person never house trained her full grown dogs and took them to Hospetality with training pads. Of course they made a mess - not the other dogs that were boarding at this pet lodge. Deana and her staff run a very tight ship that is absolutely the best pet lodge and dog day care I have ever seen. This place is the closest thing to home as could possibly be. I have never seen this business other than clean and orderly. Yes the kennels are stacked but are built to do so and are very stable and safe. If you you want to see for yourself, make an appointment for a tour and formulate your own opinion. more

I would never recommend this place to anyone that is interested in boarding their dogs! To start off I was quoted on price on the phone and then when I went to drop off my dogs that price was not nor would not be honored. I paid more to board my dogs at this substandard jail than I did on myself and my son while away. The dogs in the cages were crammed in a small room stacked precariously two high on eachother. The smell in this facility was horrendous, cat urine and dog feces filled the air! Arent their rules that govern how many dogs should be kept in such a small area? When I picked up my dogs one of them had two sores on her side? Please dont ever leave your dogs there if you care even a little bit about them. The owner talked alot of fluff about infusing lavendar oils and other hokey nonsense, but like the other reviewers have said Dont take your dogs there it is an extremely overpriced and under par dog boarding facility. more

Country Hospetality has it, Deana and her staff know what it takes to cater for special needs animals!!!! They not only cater to special needs animals, also cater to their owners. My dogs and cats love the attention, I'm always happy to see that my pets are so happy to stay at Country Hospetality. I enjoy the barking when I pull up, and I love the fact that they use cage free boarding. When I go on vacation I don't want to think of my dog or cat locked up in a cage all day and let out a total of two times a day! That's not what I consider a vacation for my dog or cat, it's cruel. This is an outstanding facility. The owner, Deana Wolfe, & her staff obviously place an enormous amount of time & energy into the care & comfort of her pet guests. This isn't your typical pet boarding ""sweatshop"" where you drop off your best friend & hope they come back without any issues.My rather shy puggle actually learned to interact with other dogs during her stay, much to my surprise. This was an unexpected bonus, as I was blown away by the enormous enclosed running areas & comfortable lodge setting in this beautiful wooded setting. I can't say enough about the uniqueness or quality of this facility, & recommend it to any & all pet lovers. Pros: Warm, friendly & unigue!!! Cons: No franchises, yet then it wouldn't be so personal. more

This is a scam site that claims to offer animal transportation that scams people out of their money all over the net with offering to send ""the perfect pet"" with awesome photos that tugs at any animal lovers heart to a good home for the cost of shipping alone. Fortunately, I have helped some folks recover their wired funds before they left the US to Nigeria. This scam is known by the pet professional industry but unfortunately I have no recourse for the internet abuse, nor the fraud & the disgusting association of these criminals capitalizing on innocent animal lovers. I guess I should be honored that my site is so wholesome and credible that they picked me out of the entire web to gain folks confidence. Back to the credibility of these reviewers... First of all I do not have ""pens"" nor does my software show any initials of a SJ dog owner (used by a reviewer) who has not used my business multiple times (i.e. SATISFIED if not in love with US ?) over the last two years. We are unique in our dedicated offerings and have been so successful that we are entertaining a business modification that lowers our clients cost while still delivering excellent service. We are green and holistic, unusual ethics for the animal industry. We challenge the local ?kennels? who have no heat and house your pet in cold concrete lonely ?pens? while they go off to their ?warm or cool? climate controlled jobs OR home to upgrade their pet accommodation. They should be responsible enough to fully disclose NO HEAT or AIR, NO dedicated doggie playtime, group or private! I guess this attitude could upset the ?statuesque? in local dog care. GOOD! I take pride in challenging them to do better by our pets household family members. I am completing my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior after studies with Animal Behavior College and the infamous clicker dog trainer Gary Wilkes. We are deploying ""Clicker Control"" training services to help pet parents address common issues such as Barking, Loose Leash Walking & Recall (come). Many pet parents have gone through Obedience Training yet are still in need of addressing specific issues. I can't believe what the other reviewers on here said! This place was horrible! I will never leave my dog here again! As soon as I drive in all the dogs are barking like crazy; they just put them all together in this fenced off area and ignore them! When I came to pick up my dog after a few days, he was very distressed. Seeing as how they just leave them all together and let them bark like crazy, I can see why! They make a big show like they are giving your dogs all this attention, but that is not true! Their store carries wholesome pet foods and treats that I feel good about feeding my pets. When my older girl had some hip issues the owner suggested some products that have made a BIG difference in her quality of life. It's obvious that Deana and her staff love animals and have a way of handling my small shy dogs. They get all excited to see her whenever we have needed to visit. This makes it so much easier to leave them behind when necessary. Since finding this vacation land for my babies I never have to worry when traveling. My dogs are calmer around other dogs since taking them to Country Hospetality. The suites are adorable and so affordable. I paid my vet the same price for a caged run with little to no personal attention or much outside time. Plus no one is around on the weekends except to feed. They use to come home shaking and acting ""off"" for a few days. Now they come home happy and sleep for a few days. I believe they?re dreaming of the fun filled days they had and the friends they made until next time... Pros: Professional Loving VERY Clean Home Enviroment.
