Costco 4/17/2006

I really love the selection at Costco, although I tend to be one of those people who think a package is a lot smaller than it really is. We see this first when we're trying to crowd all the groceries into our car and then again when it's sitting on our kitchen counters without any place to put it! This store would get five stars from me if it were not so darn crowded! As much as I love the selection and the prices, it's always a mess to try to navigate the crowded aisles. I'm really looking forward to the Nampa Costco and I'm hoping it will ease congestion at both Nampa and Boise stores. It will probably just draw more people, but I can dream, right? lol. more

We are frequent shoppers! 4/10/2006

We've been Costco members for about 11 years now and are still going strong. Granted, there are some things that can be foind a little cheaper at other places and some things only sold in bulk that I don't need in bulk. The benefits have far outweighed those things. We always purchse milk from there, its only 3.75 for 2 gallons. I love to buy plants and gardening supplies there. Their flash frozen chicken is seriously the best, even beats the chicken in the fresh meat case at the grocery store! Most of the time, the quality of the products found is Costco is superior, there have been a few times when I bought something and wasn't impressed and I returned them with no questions asked, and no problems! more

I happen to be a big fan of Costco although not everything they have for sale is the best deal around. I do not however happen to be a big fan of Wal-Mart because of their questionable business practices. I rarely shop at Wal-mart/Sams Club because I can usually get the same, or better quality products for the same price in bulk. more

Buy in bulk and save money 3/28/2006

My husband and I tend to buy a lot of the same things from the grocery store every week. We came across Costco and found out you can buy things in bulk and save a tremendous amount of money. For example, we will buy 2 gallons of milk at a time and 2 loaves of bread at a time. The other things we get in bulk are things like green beans, corn, drinks, fruit and cereal. We also get our gasoline from there because it is usually 10 cents cheaper per gallon. We figured out that we save about $40 a month shopping at Costco. The membership per year costs about $40, so it is worth it. Visit their website www.costco.com. more
