Coronado Villas

This place is horrible. Management is mind blowing on how much they lie and the horrible treatment you get after you sign your paperwork. Dawn and the assistant manager have bad attitudes and have residents in the complex who call in to tell them everything. I've had a problem with one neighbor since I've moved in and have found out multiple people have moved out because of this lady. I hate living here everyday! I am harassed and singled out. I'm seriously thinking about taking legal action. I get threatening letters they call "courtesy letters" all the time threatening me for something I don't even do. I'm so tired of this place and there horrible attitudes. Please please Please !!! Do not move here. I have to say it was probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I've been living in hell and paying a lot of money for it. Ooh They like to tack on more money all the time after you move in. more

Dishonest, partial, lazy and mean staff. Manager (Gina) very partial - she is nice to only a hand full of people. She is very unprofessional. more

I agree with the other's sentiment, under no uncertain terms should you rent from these people. I found them to be sexist, hostile towards me no doubt because I am a single male, divorced, and also handicapped. These people could care less and engaged in a campaign of harassment, including leaving threatening notes on my door designed to look like eviction notices, claiming they had the right to receive my mail and packages, and the when I had neighbors harassing me by pounding on the walls, throwing boxes at my door, and an older man across the way exposing himself in his window and even standing naked on his balcony, they complained because I complained to them about it!!!!! Been living here with a friend for several months. The location is nice and grounds really attractive. Apartments have good floor plan, except not enough storage in kitchen.Mostly quiet, but it depends on what neighbors you have. Great place for walks or exercise, using the pools or spa. Sometimes, it seems they close one or more pool areas for no reason.Nice place if you have a dog - but please, please people - pick up your after your dogs! Many people do, but some don't.Neighbors, maintenance staff and office it seems are friendly.The big problem here is with aging apartment, leaking roof and windowsills when it rains, leaky faucets, and appliances that give out. Also the carpeting is really cheap and old. I can't imagine they will keep it after we leave. Good thing condition & spots were noted on the rental agreement.We'll probably stay awhile longer. They make very high extra charges for pets, & also if you want month to month rental. That is the management, though. more

I wanted to live in these apartments but they were going to charge me a $400 nonrefundable deposit for my cats + a monthly fee. They said that it costs this much to clean the carpets in a 1 bedroom apartment---yeah right!!! How much mess can a cat make? I loved the floorplans, and they were offering a good introductory rent price, but I just couldn't pay that much for my cats. One of my friends lived here and was happy, but she didn't have any pets. more
