Our storage unit was broken into sometime in the first 2 weeks of Dec, 2009 , our lock was picked, we had items stolen, including family heirlooms that can not be replaced. When we filed a report with the office they said no one else had been in to report a break in, but then again maybe unit customers don't know, Storage Direct should do a mass mailing and let customers know about our break in and have them come check out their units.
