This is the WORST place to take a loved one. My father was admitted there around 4:30pm on 02/02/12. He hadn't been there for 15 hours and already he was laying in his own feces because they NEVER went in to check on him through out the night. He was in pain from the feces being on him for an extended period of time that he began pounding his bed to get the attention of ANYONE at the nurses station, but they ignored him. Mind you, my dad was NOT capable to move due to his illness, so it was a struggle for him to get their attention. Anytime he needed anything, the first thing they ask him is if he needed pain meds... So basically all they wanted him to do is sleep. He would BEG EVERY DAY for us to get him out of that place because he was AFRAID of what would happen during the night. The nurse would come out of his room talking loudly about how my father was a ""MEAN OLD MAN"". We were finally able to get him out of there because they ""were cleaning him, and during the moving from side to side, they managed to partially pop his trach out and he couldn't breathe, so off to Seton we go.. THANK GOD!! This place wasn't sanitary, there was feces and urine under the bed because they never check it, they told mom that he could stay there but they would take his trach completely out and change his status to ""DNR"" (Do NOT Resuscitate)... Basically, let him Suffocate to death!!! If you love your loved one DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
