Corner Tubes

Well My family and I were driving down new braunfels and were coming up to a street to take a right turn. One of "Corner Tubes" Driver's comes up to the "Middle" of the road, right up beside us and decides to turn right, without watching where he was going, no turn signal, nothing. Smashed up the entier left side of my car. The best part is AFTER they knew we had many witnesses who saw the whole thing they "REFUSE" to take any responsibility. Do we really want people like this who treat others in this manner to continue operating the way they do? The ONLY reason they even get 1 star is because I am forced to give them one to put up this comment. more

Was instructed that they will charge $10 for parking/shuttle pass. We had our own tubes, which we indicated to their employee. There was no shuttle anywhere. We go to our car and back to pick our drivers license, now they wanted $25, since we didnt rent the tubes there. We told them we had previously spoken to their employee. They laughed us off. We had no other choice than to pay since we needed to get our DL license back. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they handed me his business card- Ben O'Neil. I contacted Ben on his cell phone to following day. He asked if I knew how to read English. I indicated to him that I will report this to the BBB, which did not concern him. From the sounds of it, he is used to dealing with disgruntled customers due to their poor business practices/scamming abilities. They just rape people for owning this location. Horrible experience. Save your money and go somewhere else. Dont let these cowards scam you. Never again will I considering using these folks. more

I have been going to Corner Tubes for past 5-6yrs now. Found them thru tubing veterans at work. Their location is perfect for obtaining the necessities of a great float down the Comal. You can rent tubes, ice chests, buy ice, get wristbands for shuttle service for 1 time or all day. The people there are all very nice and every summer it is like seeing old friends again. I highly recommend the shuttle service unless you are in marvelous physical condition - the gazillion stairs you have to climb when you get out of the river will do you in w/o adding a lengthy walk in summer heat to the equation. The drivers load your tubes, help get your tired butt on the bus, rock out for the return trip & drop you where you wanna be. You can't go wrong with them!! : ) more

I have tubed all of the tubing places and didn't even know Corner Tubes was there till a friend of mine took me there. What a difference. They were so friendly, nice, and helpful. They offered free stuff for us to use, we didn't even have to ask. They are now MY only place to go. more

Corner Tubes is conveniently located in front of Landa Park, one of the best places to enter the Comal River. Corner Tubes offers a shuttle service, so tubers do not have to walk the few blocks back to their cars or to the tubing point barefoot. To rent a tube and get the shuttle service, which will provide about 2 hours of entertainment, it costs $10. To get an all day tube rental and shuttle pass, it is only $2 more. If you get to the river early, you can float 4 or 5 times. Despite sometimes having multiple customers arrive at once, Corner Tubes is fast and efficient. They keep your keys for you, so you do not lose them in the river. An added bonus for dog lovers is that they have the cutest dog on site that looks like an Ewok from a Star Wars movie. more
