Coris, Erin, Dvm - Island Animal Hospital

\r I love Island Animal Hospital! When we moved to this area about 3 years ago I needed to find a new vet and we chose Island Animal Hospital based on a recommendation from a co-worker. I can't tell you how happy I am that I did! All of the vets here are awesome but our favorites are the husband and wife team Doctors Erin and Matthew Coris, especially Dr. Erin!!! The main thing that comes across from Dr. Erin and her staff is that they really care about your pet's health. She has a beautiful bedside manner and explains everything in a way so that you understand exactly what is going on with your pet!! You just don't find the type of true calling these two vets have and I am very happy to have found them. Over a year and a half ago my pet was duagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and the one thing that always sticks in my mind is that she was never given a ""death sentence"" but rather positive encouragement about the latest and best drugs available to keep my precious Beagle happy and comfortable. My pup will be 15 in a couple of months and despite her heart condition she is one healthy little furbaby otherwise. If you were to meet her on the street you'd know she was elderly due to her graying but you'd never know she has an incruable disease!!! Thank you to the staff at Island Animal Hospital! You guys ROCK!!! more

Amazing People! Doing what they LOVE? \r The people in this office seem to really be heaven sent and doing what they are meant to do in life. Words cannot describe how amazing they are. Our favorite Dr. Matthew Coris really has impacted our family in a most amazing way and took such great care of our Bullmastiff, Abigale. Not very often do you meet someone who is truly doing what they are meant to do in life! Dr. Coris is one of those people and is shows. We have been to countless vets between here and S. Florida and am completely blown away at the difference we have found in this office. So happy to have them in my life and you will be also!! This is a wonderful place to take your four-legged friends! The staff is so caring, the environment is warm and welcoming and the doctors are helpful, genuine and knowledgeable. Their prices seem to be among the most reasonable on the island and they do take the time to go over costs and fees with you in advance if you ask, which many of us can appreciate! I walked in with a 3 week old rescued kitten and NO idea how to take care of her. They took us back, checked her out, showed me how to bottle feed her, answered all of my questions and sent me on my way with my new baby. We immediately moved our dogs as well as our new kitten over to Island Animal Hospital and will never regret it! more
