What happened to Corelli's? Went from being fantastic to terrible. Shame more

Avoid 4/6/2012

After the poor slow understaffed service, the things floating in my drink, the broken soda machines and flat sodas, the store bought frozen seafood; I thought I had suffered enough. But it was the only unusual place and service we had just prior to our credit card number being stolen and used in a different state. more

Gluten free for all? 1/13/2012

Eat somewhere else 4/10/2011

I have visited Corelli's for a few years, in the past year the experience has not been good. We were there tonight. Poor service was prevalent through the whole evening. Food delivery timing was bad Tonight I had the veal Corelli and got a greasy portion that was smaller than a half slice of bologna, there was no flavor just a plate full of greasy sauce. I ordered a side of spinach and when our food came it was missing, the waiter said it will be right up. I asked for it several times while eating the main course, the waiter said sure coming right up. Finally when we were finished eating our meal the manager came and said sorry we are out of spinach, can we give you something else?? maybe some KFC takeout ! more

great service,delicious food,amazing homemade tiramisu 1/18/2010

I go to the sugarland location about once a week. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to my needs. I take my clients as often as possible because I know we'll be treated well. I am very impressed with their fresh seafood dishes such as the shrimp diablo. It is nice when I walk into the restaurant and the hostess knows where I prefer to sit, most of the waitstaff recognises me and are quick to bring my ice tea and cesar without my having to order it. The tiramisu is my favorite because everywhere I go it seems like they try to pass off frozen tiramisu as authentic and its gritty. Here it is always fresh, the ladyfingers are perfectly soaked and not soggy. Its the perfect italian dessert! Best kept secret in Sugar Land!!!! Pros: homemade tiramisu that melts in your mouth. Cons: they do not have a full bar. wine and beer only. more

Bug In Food 1/17/2010

They substituted the salad with a bug in it for soup, and then actually charged for the soup. This is the second occasion I am aware of with a bug in their food. Pros: location Cons: Bugs in food, rude manager more

Very impressed 8/2/2009

i first went into corelli's last week with some coworkers and was very impressed. the atmosphere was wonderful, our server john was very attentive and very nice and the food was excellent. Our food did take awhile to come out but the server assured us our food would be out and presented us each with salads (we were not even charged) while we waited. The food was well worth the wait!!! Top notch. and on our way out the server presented us a frequent dinner card for the next time we come! We will definalty be back! Pros: Consistant good service and excellent food Cons: can get a little warm inside more

Best In Town! 8/25/2008

Recently my friends and I decided to go get some itallian food but we were sick of crumy food from Olive Garden. We saw Corelli's on the corner of Williams Trace and Hwy 6 and decided to stop in. From the start we were impressed. The hostess that sat us was so polite and the service was outstanding. We though it was too good to be true. When we took a look at the menu we saw so many choices and decided each to try something different. To our amazment the food was INCREDIBLE. Everything was cooked to perfection and it didnt leave us feeling sick after eating obviously too much of it (portion sizes were awesome). Because we were a new customer the manager came over and talked to us and was very nice, its obvious he cares. We will definately keep going back. Pros: Management, waitstaff, food Cons: very popular sometimes a moderate wait more

Outstanding! 7/25/2008

Took another couple last Friday night for the first time and had a great time. We are new to Sugar land, but everyone told us to go to Corelli's. We were not disappointed. Great food, great wine, great prices and great friendly attentive service. We can't wait to go back. Try the shrimp appetizer with garlic bread, chicken parmesan (the best I've ever had!), grilled salmon and chocolate cake dessert.! Pros: Service, Value, Food Quality Cons: A 30 minute wait on Friday night more

Attentive waitstaff and management 7/23/2008

I was in the Sugar Land location recently. I just moved to the area and some friend's recommended Corellis for some good italian food. Aside from the food being great, i love the warm atmosphere and the homey feeling the place had. The staff was very attentive, and the management was constantly there talking to customers making sure we had a pleasant evening. If your looking for a warm pleasant environment, this is the place to go. Pros: waitstaff and management more

Great Food!! 7/23/2008

My husband and I don't live in the Sugar Land area, but we were taking my best friend out for her birthday (she does live in the southwest area). Italian food is her favorite so I did a search on italian restaurants in the Sugar Land area. We decided on Corelli's because the location was convenient to where my friend lives, and the menu on the website looked appetizing. Wow, were we surprised at really how good the food was! I had the pecan crusted salmon which was heavenly. My husband had the fettucini alfredo with shrimp (yum!) and my friend had the parmesean crusted chicken. We all traded bites and were impressed with all the food selections we made. The prices were very reasonable for the quality (and quantity) of food and the service was very good also. The general manager came by our table to introduce himself (Scott) and helped us choose a wine that would best suit our entrees. We were very impressed with him taking time out to visit with us since the restaurant was very busy. He was both professional as well as very personable. This is definitely a restaurant we will drive across town to bring our friends and family to enjoy a great meal!! more

very dishonest staff, and uncaring owner. 7/23/2008

My family and I have been going to Corelli's for years now. Service has always been pretty okay. But the last time we went, my sister forgot her baby bag there which had her wallet, some cash, and a couple of phones, and of course baby stuff. She didn't realized it til the next morning. She called and spoke to the waitress Penny. Penny said she had found the baby bag and turned it in to management...Well, the bag came up missing. We called back a couple of days later and spoke to the manager that was working that night, he claimed to have put it behind the bar with a note, so he doesnt know what happened to it........????? ""What kind of anwser is that!?!!!!"". The staff knew what the bag looked like and knew what was in it, but no one knows where the bag is.....IT DOESNT TAKE A GENUIS TO FIGURE OUT THAT ONE OR MORE OF THE FREAKIN STAFF TOOK IT AND LIED ABOUT IT.....SOOO LOW AND SAD....We even spoke to one of the owners. He was very uncaring and was not at all concerned. His comment was that it was our fault for leaving something so valuable behind...and that there was nothing he could do. We all understand that it was our fault to have left the bag behind!!! We're not making Corelli's be responsible for it but its obvious that the staff took the bag. And We're very disappointed that the Owner had no sympathy and did not even care about how dishonest the management and Staff are.....We just can't understand why or how a group of people including the Owner can have such poor attitudes .We just want every one to know that If you ever dine there, don't leave anything out or behind, cause the staff there can not be trusted, and the Owner Does Not Care What Happens....except Penny.( she's been great).... Cons: Very dishonest Staff and Uncaring Owner!!! more
