They do not come any better than Dr. Cottrell. Vet tech, Josh, is amazing. He met us after hours & stayed all weekend long working on one of our dogs. We have had many, many experiences @ Copeland Veterinary Hospital including regular visits, surgeries, & emergency after hours visits. This is the ONLY place I would ever trust with our dogs. We have 9 dogs of our own & also own & operate Crazy Lady's Luv-A-Bull rescue & would never go anywhere else. We had an emergency situation with someone else's dog here @ our home. I had Dr. Cottrell on the phone & already in the office waiting on us when the owner of the other dog showed up & had already made arrangements to take our dog to the closest vet, Upper Cumberland Veterinary in Crossville, TN. He felt our dog might not make it all the way to Cookeville & against my wishes he rushed our dog to Upper Cumberland Vet where the vet had said he would be there in 15mins. After MULTIPLE paniced calls to Upper Cumberland Veterinary our dog died in our hands in the parking lot almost 2hrs later & the vet had still NOT even shown up. NEVER EVER again will we let that happen. Copeland Veterinary has the most commassionate, caring employees you could ever ask for & always deliver TOP NOTCH care & treatment for your pet. Please don't even consider going anywhere else. They are the BEST! more

Words just can't express my gratitude to Dr Cattrel at Copeland Vet Clinic. She is an angel. My cat Gianna Franchesca broke her leg Sunday. She is also very pregnant. Dr Cattrel has been a God-send. Our 501c3 Non-Profit Animal Rescue uses this vet for our rescued animals and we also use this vet for our personal animals. We highly recommend this veterinary hospital. The Veterinarians are all very knowledgable and truly care. The staff is absolutely wonderful, very educated, knowledgable, and so nice! You won't find any better care for your animals! Really thorough, a little pushy on making sure we got our kitten vaccinated. Like, it's way cheaper to go elsewhere. But they do really care. Their main priority is the health of the animals, and money comes second. I just had to get my kitten dewormed and had to get some medicine that I administer by dropper for a bacterial infection, and I wish the doctor would have spent a little more time telling me about the side effects because I just about had a panic attack when the kitten started drooling all over the place. more

I have taken all of my animals to Copeland for the past 5 years. They are wonderful. My German shepherd I had for 10 years had a brain tumor and had to be put to sleep. It was the worst thing I have ever gone through but they were so kind, let me take my time with her before and after and were so compassionate. They called after the fact to make sure I was ok and even sent a card. This is the best place for your animals and I would highly recommend them to anyone. more

We have used Copeland's for years with our pets. They sincerely care about the health of your animal. We had to put our dog down about a month ago due to a broken back. The vet was in tears when she put him down. Twice I've had to meet them at the office after hours, and they have always been more than willing to come. Each time, they gave just as much attention to the animal as if it were normal hours. I would highly recommend this office! Their prices may be slightly higher; but remember...you get what you pay for! more

This is where we bring our puppy for her regular vaccination, I like it here because it seems that they are really concern on the dog's health, like when my dog had this itchiness and wounds from itching, the doctore did not give my puppy steroid for she is too young for that and just told us to put specific ointment and now our puppy is doing dine. more
