Privacy 2/19/2014

I am an individual who has a high profile status. Wherever I go a crowd gathers! These people who own & operate this gem mine is absolutely the best people around to respect and deal with your privacy. It truly amazes me how genuine they are. Mr. Cooper worked with my children to teach them how to throw tomahawks and shoot BeBe guns. We got to ride on a train through the barnyard. Just because my children asked Mr. Cooper how he made the tomahawks, he gave them a lesson on blacksmithing and allowed them to make their own throwing hawk. Good place to visit. more

Perfect Place 4/9/2011

I was in town because my mother was laying in the hospital dying with cancer. While my sister would stay with mom, I would go to Cooper's Gem Mine for what I called a "therapy" bucket. The location is by a creek and mountain, which is so relaxing. The people who work at the mine are so kind and nice, they are easy to talk to. Visiting this place help me deal with a very difficult time in my life. They all offer you very kind words and support. You have to visit this place! more

Birthday Party @ Cooper's Gem Mine 6/29/2010

I had my sons 9th B-day party @ Cooper's Gem Mine. We had an absolute blast. The staff done everything, I just enjoyed the day with my son. The photos Amy took were amazing. They even sent a disk with my childs photo engraved-what a treasure to help our family remember all the fun. We shot Bebe guns, thrown tomahawks and even rode a barrel train. Oh, what fun! We roasted wienies for hotdogs and marshmellows for smores. I work a high stress job, it was a truely relaxing and enjoyable 3 hours! We will definately do this again-we might even have our company pic-nic @ Cooper's Gem Mine in the fall, can't wait! more

Children Love it! 10/20/2005

Cooper's Gem Mine is a small gem mining operation, mostly for children. A lot of the area schools take children here to learn about gem mining and about the gems and minerals. This would be a great place to take the kids for a couple of hours on a weekend. I would recommend this for children under the age of 12, any older may be bored. The prices are reasonable. more
