Cools Looks Salon Studio

Sadly, I recommend not going to this salon. I was new to the area and where Lisa is very nice, she fried my hair giving me highlights, to the point that she had to stop combing out my hair after the wash since it was just breaking away in chunks. It had no color left in spots, gray, white, yellow in some areas, it was a disaster. I went back to md to my old salon, after 6 months and three trips, my hair is almost back to normal. I'm a professional and had to skip days of work because my hair was so horrible, and $100s to fix. more

Lisa was awesome! I am so glad i ended up going to her. she has great hair advice & knows what she's talking about. & she has good pricing. I dont just got to anyone & let them touch my long, thick hair. It'll be unfortunate when i leave state in a few months more

Cool Looks Salon Studio in Fredericksburg is the BEST! Lisa is one of the best stylists I have seen. Not only does she take pride in her work, she applies ALL of her knowledge towards what works best for each individual client. Cool Looks Salon provides the works. I especially like the keratin hair extensions that are used in this salon. I will continue going to Cool Looks, as well as recommending others to do the same! As long as Cool Looks Salon is open I wont go to any other salon. I know my hair and my eyebrows are in good hands at Cool Looks. Lisa is very compassionate about what she does and she does an excellent job. On my recent trip to the salon I told her I wanted something different and she gave me some suggestions and I gave her some of mine. After combining them together and adding some color....it was perfect! I have the perfect haircut! I recently moved to Fredericksburg, VA from another state and was very hesitant on trying a new hair salon. After reading several reviews, I decided to try Cool Looks Salon because they promoted using Sulfate-Free products, offered a money back guarantee and all the reviews were positive on the staff. I called on a Saturday and was able to get in the same day due to their extended hours. After examining my hair, Lisa explained that my hair & scalp had a buildup of sulfate from the shampoo & conditioner that I had been using & the color that was used by my previous salon was not the correct shade of blonde to match my natural hair color. Even though I was a new customer and it was close to closing time, Lisa stayed until 11:30 PM to repair, color and cut my damaged hair. My scalp and hair are so much healthier now & the color is a perfect shade to blend with my natural hair color. I highly recommend this salon; they definitely go above and beyond for their customers. more

I have always been very embarrassed of my appearance because I had no eyebrows. I was \r doing alot of research and was searching for the right place to do it for over two years. \r Usually I was told that I have to get a tattoo artist and that they dont numb you so out \r of fear I was about to give up until I stumbled into this shop. The prices are \r reasonable, the owner and the staff are down to earth . They made me feel comfortable, \r and that I could trust her with permanent makeup.. on top of that she (Lisa) did numb me. \r I appreciate that. When I went to Cool Looks for color,my hair was a mess. I have graying dark hair and a beautician had used semi-permanent color with amonia on it. It looked awful and felt dry and damaged.\r Lisa did a wonderful color correction on me that looked natural and flattering. My hair felt soft and conditioned too. Ever since Lisa from Cool Looks cut my hair I don't want anyone else to cut it! She has a keen eye for what style is the most flattering for me . Her scalp massages are magical and actually puts me to sleep every time. My daughters hair also had been changed from bushy- no style to a much more flattering Wedge-Bob style. Lisa also trimmed my eyebrows which opened my eyes and made them look younger. Their Dermabrasion treatments, and Facials have made my skin look so much better.\r \r The only unfortunate thing about the Salon is it is sooo far away from me. I stumbled upon Cool Looks by accident. I walked in to get my brows done. The staff was extremely courteous, even though I was a walk in, and I only had to wait a few minutes. The owner of the salon, Lisa, did my brows, and I was so satisfied that I haven't been anywhere else since! Lisa is amazing and her salon is fantastic. Definitely recommended! more

I was searching the internet for extensions, and stubble upon this salon. It said, ""The best salon in fredericksburg"". I wanted to try it out by adding extensions to my hair, sense it was starting to fall. I never thought I would be leaving the salon feeling good about the overal look of my hair. \r \r I have used soooooo many products on the market, that I had given up on my dry damaged hair. I just wanted to fill in the spot of my hair where I was beginning to loose hair. \r \r I went in for a free consultation with Lisa. I made an appointment to have my hair treatmented before adding the extensions. According to Lisa my hair was really unheathly and she didn't wanted to add to the cause of my hair fallen even more by adding extensions without treatment. \r \r Once Lisa was done with my hair, I was astonished, I didn't know I had curls! All she did was shampoo and condition my hair, and WAHLA!!! Curls appeared. You would think I had just gotten a perm. She added leave in condtioner and use a frizz free product, from the brand, Enjoy, and my hair was curly. Oh my gosh, I felted like, cruly sue, lol. \r \r If you have dry, frizzy hair and you have lost hope for your hair, well this is the salon you need to try. You will not be disappointed.\r \r I have found the product that adds volume to my hair and is restoring my hair, it's growing back!!!, this is the best product I have come in contact with. I just moved from Alaska and was in dying need of a salon. My old salon was like home and anyone who appreciates their hair knows that who can't just go to a random salon and trust them. Even after I thought I found a salon because of their ""name brand"" -they still managed to color my hair with 4 different color tones. Lisa though on the other hand has been and is AMAZING! She knew exactly all my hair habits from one (free) consultation. She always has healthy tips and not just for hair but for face as well. I felt for the first time since I left Alaska that I finally found my salon! Her staff is awesome and fun to talk to, I love just visiting. I make excuses to visit and so Lisa can do my hair. So far she has colored, cut, styled and done hair extensions to me. I love my hair extensions and Lisa expects nothing but perfect performance. Anyone who doesn't go to Lisa is missing out! more

I used to go see Lisa when she worked at Hair Cuttery in Stafford. I had been seeing her for months to fix my too thin and shapeless eyebrows. You know the kind I'm talking about... nail salons that just leave you enough pencil thin. Lisa moved to open her Cool Looks Salon in Fredericksburg, and I unfortunately started going elsewhere to have my eyebrows done instead of making the 15 minute drive. Man! Have I learned my lesson. I am now back with Lisa at Cool Looks and have an appointment booked for my eyebrows every 3 weeks from now until my wedding in August!! :) I won't ever see anyone else again. She is the best hands down. She takes her time, does it right and really cares about what you want and how your going to look when you leave. What a breath of fresh air to go somewhere and know they aren't just cranking people out as fast as possible for the money. I would recommend Lisa and her team to anyone! more

As a man, it's hard finding a good stylist especially in this area. Many hair salons and barber shops cater to the military. All too often I would find my head being hacked by a clipper rather than styled by a professional. I reluctantly went to those places simply because there was no other choice until I found this place. Now I have a choice and I would pick no other. I drive about an hour just to get my hair cut with them. Lisa and her staff are simply the best. My cut always looks good weeks after it was done because it was styled and not just shaped. I was so pleased to get a wonderful consultation and a very flattering haircut from the salon owner, Lisa! I also took my teenage daughter and son to get a ""makeover"" haircut from her. They were extremely pleased with their new look (it is hard to please teenager). We were served with the utmost professionalism from the staff, and the stylist's attention to detail while cutting hair under the owner's supervision was impressive. It is worth driving the distance (1 hour) to get this kind of service. We are hooked! more
