We booked our rooms several months in advance and we were assured the whole time that everything would be taken care of. There were several mistakes caught in the booking process and several "misunderstandings" from what I was told - always by phone- and what was in writing or actually charged. THEN, there were some lost reservations, mine included. My colleague tried to simply change the name on the reservation, I sent 3 emails, no response, called they would take care of it, never happened, then was told even during it would be taken care of, it never was. We had to book the room directly while there. CHS eventually offered nothing. I filed a complaint with the BBB, as many others have, and they said I had buyers remorse, for wanting a credit after simply requesting a name change. There was no resolution. Check out the Better Business Bureau. They are in effect for a reason, and there is a reason CHS is NOT a member. I am convinced there are flukes where CHS has a happy customer or 2, but the rest of these are their employees or family members that are writing reviews. Save yourself the embarrassment of not having or room, or worse, having to pay 2x the amount. It wasn't worth the meager savings I thought we would have. Terrible experience with CHS.
