Top notch technical support and service! I would recommend Controlling Systems to anyone. When your furnace goes out there is no time to shop around. These guys won't take advantage of that situation and they are reasonably priced. Brent did an excellent job of following through down to the last detail. more

I woke up to a 60 degree house, 12 degrees outside, and my heater failing to come on. I have a 7 month old baby and we were icicles! This is my second time using Controlling Systems, before for air conditioning, and I would use them again. I called around 8:30am and let them know what was going on and they told me they could be here between 10-2. I was a little concerned because of the baby and I needed the heat to come on as soon as possible. They informed me it would be closer to 10 and Gus showed up about 5 minutes before 10.\r Apparently I had a bad flame sensor causing the unit to light and shut itself down again, which is what was happening. Though it was costly (I'm not a heating parts expert, so I don't know how much these things cost) I used the yelp coupon and saved $30.\r Overall both people I dealt with were very nice and they were quick to fix my problem. The baby and I are now thawed out and are grateful! more

I called Tuesday, and they were able to get a technician to my house on Friday. Sean was prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I am going to use this company in the future for all of my HVAC needs because it was a very positive experience. more

We called Controlling Systems to replace our A/c unit. Brent came out the next day (first thing) and did a quote for us. 15 minutes before he came he called and let me know he was on his way (very appreciated). Than actually showed up when he said he would. He checked out everything, answered all my questions (I had several), and gave me a good price on a new system. His price included EVERYTHING, taxes, fees, labor, everything. No surprises. Kevin and Lou came out the next day and complete the install. They also called when they were on their way, and showed up right at the scheduled time. They were friendly and professional, completing their job in an efficient but effective manor. I'd recommend them to anyone, and will be calling them again for work in the future. Thank you! more

My furnace stopped blowing hot air sometime late Thursday night. It seemed like a minor problem, but I couldn't solve it. It was a Friday when I discovered the problem, so I knew I needed it fixed fast (and figured I would be paying out the nose for it.).\r Gus from Controlling Systems was able to make it out 30 minutes earlier than they told me he could. He fixed the problem by resetting a switch, and even showed me how he did it so I can handle it myself if it happens again. Only $49, and a $20 spot for my gratitude at not having my family freeze over the weekend.\r \r Will definitely make them my first call next time. more

My furnace started working sporadically...sometimes it would work fine, other times it would just blow cold air or not do anything at all. \r I called several H VAC businesses to find them all booked up through the holidays, some even sounding annoyed at my request for service. Then I called Controlling Systems. Gus answered with a friendly and professional voice, listened to my concern, and scheduled me for later the same day. He was able to arrive one full hour before that time after a call to see if I was available and had a new sensor installed, the dust blown out, and everything cleaned up before the original appointment time!! The furnace works great now and both grandma and I are most appreciative! I absolutely recommend this company! more

This company did a beautiful AC install 8 yrs ago and I have enjoyed a trouble free system all these years. Attic fan finally died yesterdat and they were able to turn around a tech in one day. Sean Langan is a consummate profession, knows his trade. Arrived on time with a phone call ahead of arriving, diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to install a new unit quickly. Friendly and smart, gave this old lady a lot of new and helpful tips on AC operation too. Call these folks first, you won't be disappointed! more

Sean showed up at my house within the 2 hour window (point #1) and was super friendly (point #2). He was patient with all the questions I had and gave us a good gauge on the life left in our AC unit, and what to expect a couple years from now. He was honest with his answers, he could've bullshitted me and I wouldn't have known, but he didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear, which was great. The problem took longer than I expected to fix because he had to run down to Englewood to pick up a part, but it's not his fault there's traffic on a Thursday. Overall, I think he did a great job, gave us good recommendations to how to take care of the unit, and finally gave us a working AC to fight the 100+ degree weather. Don't know how they compare with other companies, but I'd use them again. more

My furnace ignitor went out and as a result the furnace cycled on and off in short spurts. I contacted this company and Gus was dispatched, I really can't say enough good things about him. He didn't overcharge, cleaned everything out, was super nice, and explained what was going on. He even looked at the gas powered ""wood"" stove in the family room that hadn't worked in many months. Prices were good too. $276 for a warm house? Nice! more
