I went into Toyota Continental to purchase a new vehicle. I had not purchased a vehicle since 1994. Mr. D. Pecko made this experince pain free. The service I recieved was great! I believe that when you treat your customers with care that your business will surely have success. I had been to other toyota dealers and none had compared to Toyota Continental I will refer all my family and friends and will rest assure that they will be taken care of as well as I. I have recently bought the used 2010 Toyota Highlander. I am a Canadian citizen living in Alberta and was quite nervous when i started looking for a vehicle in US because of all the horrible stories i heard from my friends. I found a vehicle on Edmunds and sent an email for a more information. After initial queries i started talking to Used Car Manager CJ Miller who helped me and gave me a confidence about the vehicle i was interested in. He helped me every step of the way knowing that its an internet transaction and I am buying a vehicle without even looking at it. The whole process was extremely smooth and the entire team of Continental Toyota specifically CJ Miller was extremely gracious and considerate. The vehicle was shipped from the dealership and i received the delivery yesterday and CJ followed me with an email that if i have recieved the vehicle and how do i like it. I just wanted to tell all the people reading this review that buy with confidence at COntinental Toyota because I found CJ Miller very honest and helpfull. I bought the car without even looking at it and now that i have a car its more than my expectation and received everything that CJ promised. Once again Thanks CJ and Jacky. Wonderful experience more

Bad Dealership 1/20/2011

I recently bought a used car and I feel nothing but disgust. They have very poor management. You would believe that a big corporation like this one would know how to handle their customers well, but they do not. I bought a car and it broke down only after driving 200 miles; the worst dealership in the whole world! more

While I was in for service, I was on http://insiderpages.com, and a few other review sites, looking at the reviews for Continental Toyota. I have been their customer for a few years, and have found the sales and service department to be the best I have ever dealt with. I have met this manager, Dennis, while he was in the service department, casually talking with customers. Whoever wrote a bad review about him, must not have met him. He is a good guy, and the dealership is a friendly place. I have always had good experiences with this dealership, and I have recommended them to many people, all of whom have had the same good experiences. more

SKhan\r \r 9/24/10\r \r Would I recommend this dealership? The Answer is yes. My experience at Continental Toyota has been one of the best one I have ever had. I was looking for a good fuel efficient and safe car for my seventeen year old daughter. I was debating between Toyota and Honda, but when I walked into Continental Toyota, the decision making seemed much easier. Thanks to Mr. Dennis Pecho (GM) he guided me through everything, from sales to financing and giving me a tour of the dealership. It felt good that not only my sales person Kelly was knowledgeable but the GM Mr. Dennis Pecho was very helpful as well. He took personal interest in each and every customer; at least for the time I was there, thats what I noticed. My over all experience was excellent. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family because it is hard to find VIP treatment at a standard car dealership. Mr. Pecho made me feel like I was family. I see that Continental Toyota is receiving a lot of bad press. I have only had positive experiences with their service. \r I moved to this area in 1997. I bought a Camry from an out of state dealer. When I needed to take the car into the shop I asked around and was told about Continental, so I took my car there. Since that time I?ve bought two cars there. The sales managers have tried their best to make a deal for the potential buyer. That is what brings the customer back.\r When my Camry had to be serviced---just like any other service shop---I had to wait, and while waiting I talked to everyone, and listened as well. I wanted to know what other people thought about this dealer?s service. Patrons told me how great the service was and some mentioned having only purchased their cars from Continental. why did they hire Dennis? did they NOt realize his last job didnt want him? the man has used car salesman written all over him! he clearly doesnt know what he is doing! the guy is unprofessional, rude, & very ignorant! a couple of years ago in the old building, before Dennis, the place was wonderful! everyone seemed great, once Dennis joined the team, the whole place just fell apart! they lost my business as well as my entire familys. which was alot! all of my friends have switched dealerships too! what moron hired Dennis?....change it back the way it used to be, why did they try to fix something that wasnt broken? now the whole place is all screwed up! i live only a few blocks away & saw a nice used elantra on the lot, took a test drive, but the price was too high. it sat for a while & i tried to get them down on price online. got a couple of bucks knocked off & went back to take another look, but the car was off the lot. they kept trying to get me in with emails even tho it was gone. they are an insult to the word unscrupulous. more

They have a horrible customer service. I've set an appointment with them to see and buy the car, they said that the car is available I can come and buy it. After I came they said that car is sold. Manager could say only "I'm sorry". Don't waste your time going there. more

The worst dealership I have ever dealt with 1/12/2009

I had only 50,000 miles on my toyota corolla. It already has had a bad ecm and a bad fuel injector. Continental Toyota of Countryside has the worst service department I have ever dealt with. Their General Manager Dennis Pecho does nothing but give you the run around. They lie to you about everything. They claim my problems with the car are from a bad tank of gas. I fill my tank always with Shell higher octane gas. I called Toyota to complain and they did nothing. Their Factory representative Jennifer Hoffman met with me at the dealership. Had a how can I help you attitude when I met her. She said they were not covering the repairs period. I complained to Toyota and they did nothing. I am warning everyone do not but a Toyota product and do not buy from this dealership. I will never buy another foreign made car. They are made with cheap parts. FINANCE SCAM ALERT 12/23/2008

A couple of weeks ago I went into Continental Toyota, pre-approved, to purchase a 2006 Subaru Tribeca. At that time I walked out with a stack of signed paperwork at an acceptable rate and payment.\r \r Tonight I spoke with Roxanne in finance, who called to tell me I had to come in to re-sign my papers because Capital One wouldn't finance the gap coverage. I immediately followed up with Capital One to confirm this, they agreed, and then confirmed that I had been approved at the rate I initially agreed to. That is what is on my contract.\r \r So I went into the dealership where a man named Chris presented me with a new set of paperwork that he told me I had to sign which had a higher rate, higher sale price, and higher payment. I told him no way in hell and walked out. My "new contract" should have been identical in every way, save the deducted gap coverage.\r \r This is a WELL DOCUMENTED SCAM that dealers use, banking that you won't do your homework.\r \r I already confirmed that Capital One ap more

i just read the previous review & i had to laugh! nothing could be further from the truth! mark is the nicest advisor i have ever encountered & i have been going to this toyota just to see him! he takes his time & explains everything to me, never does he pressure me in any way & i trust him with my vehicle, my husbands & my sons! this man goes above & beyond every time! i too am a minority woman & mark never made me feel less intelligent in any way, maybe this woman has her own problems with comprehension & shouldn't blame them on someone else! also, your car manual gives a suggestion for tire pressure, i drive on the expressway all the time & i always put in a little more air then what the manual says to avoid a problem, i trust my advisor! you know, there are some people you can never please, this woman is obviously one of them! mark is a great guy who has always taken great care of our family's vehicles, i wouldn't settle for anyone else, he is clearly the best! i came on here to write a good review for toyota and instead i decided to direct my good review towards mark, who well deserves it! i just cant stand the fact that this woman feels she needs to bash this man for something she clearly knows nothing about! i wish i could defend john, but i never personally dealt with him, therefore i know nothing about him, sorry. i love countryside toyota, & i would recommend it to anyone! great service with a smile!
